[I] [PREACHING LESSON 9:] THINGS CHRISTIANS DO THAT ARE DISPLEASING TO THE LORD

(Mga bagay na ginagawa ng mga Kristiyano na hindi kasiya-siya sa Panginoon)

2SAMUEL 11:27 “And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord.”

Panimula:

a.     Maliwanag na sinabi ng Diyos na ang ginawa ni Haring ay hindi kalugod-lugod sa Kanyang harapan. Alam na natin ang kwento ng kasalanan ni David. Ito ay mabigat na kasalanan.

Þ   Nagsimula lamang sa pagmamasid sa isang babaeng naliligo na si Bathsheba, asawa ng kapitan ng mga sundalo ni David. Pagkatapos, kinuha niya ito at sinipingan at pinagplanuhan ang pagpatay sa asawa nitong lalake. Mga masamang gawain ng Kristiyano na hindi nakalulugod sa Diyos:

1. GOD IS DISPLEASED EVERY TIME WE REFUSED HIS COUNSEL

(Ang Diyos ay hindi nasisiyahan sa tuwing tinatanggihan natin ang Kanyang payo)

PROVERBS 1:24-32 “Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
Prov 1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:”

Prov 1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
Prov 1:27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Prov 1:28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
Prov 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:
Prov 1:30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
Prov 1:31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
Prov 1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.”

a.     Ang Diyos mismo ang nagsasabi na tinatawag Niya tayo ngunit tinatanggihan natin ang Kanyang payo.

b.    Nagagalit ang Diyos sa bawat Kristiyano na niwawalang saysay ang payo Niya.

c.      Tahasang sinabi ng Diyos na tatanggap ng galit ng Diyos ang sinomang tatanggi at babalewalain ang payo ng Diyos.

PROVERBS 1:31-32 “Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
Prov 1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.”

2. GOD IS DISPLEASED EVERY TIME WE FORSOOK THE ASSEMBLY IN WORSHIPPING HIM

(Ang Diyos ay hindi nasisiyahan sa tuwing tinatalikuran natin ang kapulungan sa pagsamba sa Kanya)

HEBREWS 10:25 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

a.     Ang linggo ay unang araw ng isang linggo. Tinatawag itong “Lord’s Day”.

1CORINTHIANS 16:2 “Upon the first [day] of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as [God] hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.”

b.    Sa araw ng Linggo natin sinasamba ang Diyos sa espiritu at katotohanan.

JOHN 4:23-24 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Jn 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.”

c.      Ibinigay ng Diyos ang Kanyang masaganang pangako sa bawat Kristiyano na inuuna ang Diyos sa araw ng pagsamba.

MATTHEW 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

3. GOD IS DISPLEASED EVERY TIME WE DOUBTED THE GOODNESS OF GOD FOR US

(Ang Diyos ay hindi nasisiyahan sa tuwing pinagdududahan natin ang kabutihan ng Diyos sa atin)

PSALMS 78:17-22 “And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.
Pss 78:18 And they tempted God in their heart by asking meat for their lust.
Pss 78:19 Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?
Pss 78:20 Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?
Pss 78:21 Therefore the Lord heard [this], and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;
Pss 78:22 Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:”

a.     Ang bayan ng Israel ay laging nag-aalinlangan sa kabutihan ng Diyos sa kanila kaya nagagalit Siya sa kanila.

b.    Ikinagalit ng Diyos ang masamang tanong ng bayan ng Israel na kung kaya ba Niya maglagay ng pagkain sa lamesa nila sa ilang.

PSALMS 78:19 “Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?”

c.      Nagalit ang Diyos sa kanila dahil sa kanilang kawalang pananampalataya.

PSALMS 78:22 “Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:”

4. GOD IS DISPLEASED EVERY TIME WE DO NOT BRING OUR TITHES AND OFFERINGS INTO THE STOREHOUSE

(Ang Diyos ay hindi nasisiyahan sa tuwing hindi natin ibinibigay ang ating mga ikapu at mga kaloob sa kamalig)

MALACHI 3:8-10 “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Mal 3:9 Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this whole nation.
Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].”

a.     Nagagalit ang Diyos sa taong nagsasabi na ninanakawan ba natin ang Diyos.

Þ   Ang hindi pagbibigay ng ating ikapu sa Panginoon ay kasalanang pagnanakaw sa bahagi ng Diyos.

b.    Nagbigay ang Diyos ng magandang pangako sa bawat nagtatapat ng kanilang ikapu na Kanyang bubuksan ang bintana ng langit at ibubuhos ang masaganang pagpapala na sukat na walang pagkalagyan sa kanilang tahanan.

5. GOD IS DISPLEASED EVERY TIME WE SHOW SLACKNESS IN WINNING THE LOST

(Ang Diyos ay hindi nasisiyahan sa tuwing ipinagpapaliban natin ang pag-aakay ng kaluluwa ng tao)

2PETER 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

a.     Sinaway ni Hesus ang ugali ng Kaniyang mga disipulo na laging nagpapaliban na mag-akay ng mga kaluluwa ng tao.

JOHN 4:35 “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

b.    Nais ng Diyos na lahat ng taong makasalanan ay maligtas. Ngunit malungkot dahil ang mga Kristiyano ay walang makasakit na mag-akay.

1TIMOTHY 2:4 “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

Pangwakas:

Ito ang mga bagay na laging ikinagagalit ng Diyos na ginagawa ng Kristiyano na kasalanan.

JAMES 4:17 “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.”

Pagpalain kayong lahat ng Diyos.
