THE
CHRISTIAN FIGHT IS A FIGHT OF GOOD FAITH
(Ang
labanang Kristiyano ay isang labanan ng mabuting pananampalataya)
1TIMOTHY 6:12 “Fight the good
fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and
hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”
2TIMOTHY 4:7-8 “I have fought
a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:
2Tim 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day:
and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
Panimula:
a. Ang buhay ng Kristiyano ay hindi lahat
punung-puno ng kagalakan at pagpapala mula sa Diyos.
JOHN 10:10 “The thief
cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they
might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.”
b. Ang buhay ng Kristiyano ay makakaranas rin
ng pakikipagbuno at pagharap sa iba’t-ibang hamon at labanang espiritwal sa
pang-araw-araw na buhay Kristiyano.
2CORINTHIANS 6:4-5 “But in all
[things] approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in
afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
2Cor 6:5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in
labours, in watchings, in fastings;”
Apat na
bagay tungkol sa labanang Kristiyano:
1. THE
CHRISTIAN FIGHT IS A SPIRITUAL FIGHT
(Ang
labanang Kristiyano ay isang espirituwal na laban)
EPHESIANS 6:11-12 “Put on the
whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the
devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness
of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].”
a. Ang ating kaaway ay espiritu na hindi
natin nakikita. Ito ay si Satanas, ang diyablo.
b. Ang labanang Kristiyano ay hindi sa dugo at
laman kundi pagharap sa lahat ng mga gawaing masama ng espiritwal na kaaway.
c. Kaya naman tayo ay inuutusan ng Diyos na
magsikuha ng mga pananggalang upang humarap sa ating espiritwal na kaaway at
upang tayo ay makatagal at magtagumpay.
EPHESIANS 6:13 “Wherefore take
unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil
day, and having done all, to stand.”
2. THE
CHRISTIAN FIGHT IS A SERIOUS FIGHT
(Ang
labanang Kristiyano ay isang seryosong laban)
1 THESSALONIANS 2:18-20 “Wherefore we
would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
1Thes 2:19 For what [is] our hope, or joy, or crown of
rejoicing? [Are] not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his
coming?
1Thes 2:20 For ye are our glory and joy.”
a. Seryosong labanan sapagkat ang kaaway na
diyablo ay hahadlang upang akayin ang makasalanan na huwag mapunta sa
impiyerno.
b. Seryosong labanan sapagkat gusto ng diyablo
na tayo ay hindi matapat sa Panginoon na nagmahal at nagligtas sa atin.
JOB 2:4-5 “And Satan
answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he
give for his life.
Job 2:5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his
bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.”
c. Ang asawa ni Job ay nagsalita ng masamang
salita sa kanya na kanyang laitin, talikuran at itakwil ang Diyos sa kanyang
buhay subalit ipinagtanggol pa rin niya ang kanyang Panginoon. Sa ganitong
paraan naluwalhati ang Diyos at hindi nagkasala si Job sa kanyang labi sa harap
ng Diyos.
JOB 2:9-10 “Then said his
wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
Job 2:10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of
the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and
shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.”
3. THE
CHRISTIAN FIGHT IS A SUCCESSFUL FIGHT
(Ang
labanang Kristiyano ay isang matagumpay na laban)
2TIMOTHY 4:7 “I have fought
a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:”
a. Ang labanang espiritwal para kay Pablo ay
isang labanan na may pagwawagi sapagkat tinapos niyang may pagtatagumpay.
b. Ang labanang espiritwal ay napagtagumpayan
ni Pablo sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya.
2CORINTHIANS 5:7 “(For we walk
by faith, not by sight:)”
c. Ang labanang Kristiyano ay
napagtagumpayan ni Pablo sa pamamagitan ng Salita ng Diyos katulad ng mg
lingkod ng Panginoon sa Lumang Tipan.
HEBREWS 11:32-33 “And what shall
I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and [of] Barak, and
[of] Samson, and [of] Jephthae; [of] David also, and Samuel, and [of] the
prophets:
Heb 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought
righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,”
4. THE
CHRISTIAN FIGHT IS A SATISFYING FIGHT
(Ang
labanang Kristiyano ay isang kasiya-siyang laban)
2TIMOTHY 4:7-8 “I have fought
a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:
2Tim 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day:
and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
a. Kasiya-siya dahil napagtatagumpayan ang
espiritwal na kalaban.
b. Kasiya-siya dahil natapos ni Pablo ang
pakikipaglaban.
c. Kasiya-siya dahil sa may nakalaang putong
pagkatapos na ito ay mapagtagumpayan.
Pangwakas:
Ang
labanang Kristiyano ay totoong seryosong labanan dahil ito ay hindi labanan sa
laman at dugo. Ang kaaway natin ay mas malakas kaysa sa atin sapagkat siya ay
dating anghel na lumaban sa Diyos. Kaya kailangan natin ang tulong ng Diyos
upang tayo ay magtagumpay.
1PETER 5:10 “But the God of
all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after
that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle
[you].”
Pagpalain
kayong lahat ng Diyos.
