WHY DOES GOD EXPECT MORE FRUITS IN THE LIFE OF THE
CHRISTIANS?

INTRODUCTION:
a.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the first who is very concerned for the Christian to
have a fruitful life because Christ designed the life of the Christian to be
fruitful in the life of God's people.
b.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the very source of fruitfulness in the lives of the People of God.
c.
Christ lives a very close life with the Lord to assure spiritual fruits in
their Christian life.
1. BECAUSE CHRIST IS OUR PRIME MODEL FOR FRUITFUL CHRISTIAN LIFE.
( John 4:35 ) Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?
behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are
white already to harvest.

To Christ, a fruitful life of the Christian is daily work for Him.
*
To Christ, soul-winning is really a must-work because of the preciousness of
every soul of the lost people.
( John 9:4-5 ) [4]I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day:
the night cometh, when no man can work.
[5]As long as I am
in the world, I am the light of the world.

Jesus must need to go to Samaria
( John 4:4-7 ) [4]And he must needs go through Samaria.
[5]Then cometh he
to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that
Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
[6]Now Jacob's well
was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the
well: and it was about the sixth hour.
[7]There cometh a
woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
2. BECAUSE GOD IS GLORIFIED WITH THE FRUITS OF THE CHRISTIANS.
( John 15: 8 ) Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall
ye be my disciples.
( John 15:16 ) Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you,
that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:
that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

God made clear to Christians that God has chosen the Christian to bear much
fruit.

God promises to answer all our prayers if we consistently win lost people.
3. BECAUSE GOD'S MAIN PURPOSE FOR SAVING US IS TO REACH OTHERS AND BE
FRUITFUL.
( Acts 2:41) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the
same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
( Acts 6:4-7 ) [4]But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the
ministry of the word.
[5]And the saying
pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of
the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and
Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
[6]Whom they set
before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
[7]And the word of
God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly;
and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Every individual Christian has good potential, like Peter, to have a very fruitful
Christian life. Especially those who gave their precious time to win lost
people.

Jerusalem Church and Antioch Church are good model churches in winning more
lost people to glorify God.
(Acts 11:21-24) [21]And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number
believed, and turned unto the Lord.
[22]Then tidings of
these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they
sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
[23]Who, when he
came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with
purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
[24]For he was a
good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added
unto the Lord.
4. BECAUSE GOD HAD CHOSEN YOU TO BE GOD'S PARTNER IN HIS GREAT
MINISTRY.
( John 15:16 ) Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you,
that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:
that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

God is our co-laborer in His great ministry.
( Corinthians 3:8-9
) [8]Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every
man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
[9]For we are
labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

God has chosen you and me to be God's partners to lost people because we are the
ambassadors of Christ to reconcile the lost people to God the Father in
heaven forever and ever in heaven.
(Hebrews 11: 15-16
) [15]And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from
whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
[16]But now they
desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to
be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
5. BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO REACH THE WHOLE WORLD BY THE GOSPEL
OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
( Matthew 28: 19-20
) [19]Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
[20]Teaching them
to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
( Romans 1:15-16 ) [15]So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to
you that are at Rome also.
[16]For I am not
ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to
every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
6. BECAUSE GOD AND THE LEGIONS OF ANGELS ARE REJOICING FOR SOULS BEING
SAVED BY THE SOUL-WINNING EFFORT OF THE CHRISTIANS.
( Luke 15:3-7 ) [3]And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
[4]What man of you,
having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and
nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
[5]And when he hath
found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
[6]And when he
cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them,
Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
[7]I say unto you,
that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than
over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
