1THESSALONIANS 2:13 “For this cause also thank we God without
ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye
received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God,
which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”
Panimula:
a. Manghang-mangha si Pablo sa mga taga-Tesalonica kung
papaanong tinanggap nila ang Salita ng Diyos hindi bilang salita ng tao kundi
ito ay tinanggap nila na salita ng katotohanan.
b. Sinabi rin ni Pablo na ang Salita ng Diyos ang
mabisang gumagawa sa buhay ng mga tao na nakakarinig.
c. Ang Salita ng Diyos ay salita ng katotohanan.
JOHN 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the
truth shall make you free.”
Mga dakilang bunga at magagawa ng Salita ng Diyos
sa bawat taong makikinig nito:
1. THE MULTITUDE
OF LOST PEOPLE WERE PRICKED IN HEART AND GOT SAVED
(Karamihan sa
mga taong hindi ligtas ay nasaktan ang mga kanilang puso at naligtas)
ACTS 2:37 “Now
when they heard [this], they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter
and to the rest of the apostles, Men [and] brethren, what shall we do?”
ACTS 2:41 “Then they that gladly received his word were
baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand
souls.”

Sa pakikinig ng Salita ng Diyos, ang
makasalanan ay nagkakaroon ng pananampalataya kay Kristo.
ROMANS 10:17 “So then faith [cometh]
by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

ROMANS 10:14 “How then shall they
call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him
of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”

2. THE MOVEMENT OF THE WORD OF GOD MADE THEM DECIDE
TO SERVE THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD

1THESSALONIANS 1:9 “For they themselves shew of us what
manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to
serve the living and true God;”

“Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and
patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;”

naging mabuting tagasunod ni Kristo dahil sa Salita ng Diyos.

PURPOSE OF THE WORD OF GOD IS TO GIVE THEM STRONG FAITH TO GOD

“By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry [land]: which the Egyptians
assaying to do were drowned.

Heb 11:31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.
Heb 11:32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and [of] Barak, and [of] Samson, and [of] Jephthae; [of] David also, and Samuel, and [of] the prophets:”

Heb 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

4. THE MANIFOLD
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WORD OF GOD THAT CHRISTIANS CAN BENEFIT FROM

HEBREWS 4:12 “For the word of God [is] quick, and
powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing
asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner
of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Katulad ito ng isang tabak na may

JAMES 1:22-24 “But be ye doers of
