PSALMS 73:28 “But [it is] good for me to draw near to
God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.”
Panimula:
JOHN 15:5 “I am the
vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
Mga mabubuting desisyon ng Kristiyano upang maging
malapit sa Panginoon:
1. SERVING THE
LORD WITH HUMILITY OF MIND WILL BRING US CLOSER TO GOD
ACTS 20:19 “Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and
temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:”
a.
Seryosong patotoo ni Pablo na siya ay
naglilingkod nang may kababaan ng isip. Kaya naman lalo siyang naging epektibo
sa pagganap ng gawain ng Panginoon.
b.
ACTS 20:20-23 “[And] how I kept back
nothing that was profitable [unto you], but have shewed you, and have taught
you publickly, and from house to house,
Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 20:22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
Acts 20:23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.”
Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 20:22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
Acts 20:23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.”
c.
ACTS 20:24 “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto
myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I
have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”
2. SEARCHING GOD’S WORD NOT AS MAN’S WORD BUT AS
THE VERY WORD OF GOD WILL BRING US CLOSER TO HIM
1THESSALONIANS 2:13 “For this cause also
thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which
ye heard of us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in
truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”
a.
PSALMS 19:7 “The law of the Lord [is]
perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord [is] sure, making wise
the simple.”
JOHN 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
c.
Kaya ng Salita ng Diyos na ituwid,
itama at gawing mapalad ang ating buhay.
PSALMS 1:1-2 “Blessed [is] the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of
sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Pss 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”
Pss 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”
1PETER 2:21 “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:”
3. SEEKING GOD
FIRST WITH CONSISTENCY WILL BRING US CLOSER TO GOD
MATTHEW 6:33 “But seek ye first the
kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto
you.”
a.
ACTS 20:7 “And upon the first [day]
of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached
unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until
midnight.”
c.
ACTS 2:46-47 “And they, continuing
daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house,
did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
4. SUPPORTING GOD’S WORK
WITH SACRIFICE WILL BRING US CLOSER TO GOD
2CORINTHIANS
8:8 “I
speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to
prove the sincerity of your love.”
a.
2CORINTHIANS
8:1-5 “Moreover,
brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of
Macedonia;
2Cor 8:2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
2Cor 8:3 For to [their] power, I bear record, yea, and beyond [their] power [they were] willing of themselves;
2Cor 8:4 Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and [take upon us] the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
2Cor 8:5 And [this they did], not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.”

1.
Masagana silang sumuporta kahit sila ay
hirap at nangangailangan.
2.
Higit sa kanilang kaya ang kanilang
suporta.
3.
Ibinigay muna nila ang kanilang sarili
bago nagbigay ng kanilang kaya.
b.
2CORINTHIANS
8:9 “For
ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for
your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”
Pangwakas:
JAMES 4:8 “Draw nigh to God, and
he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your]
hearts, [ye] double minded.”
Pagpalain kayong lahat ng Diyos.
