[H] [PREACHING LESSON 14:] WHAT SHALL I RENDER UNTO THE LORD FOR ALL HIS BENEFITS TOWARD ME?

WHAT SHALL I RENDER UNTO THE LORD FOR ALL HIS BENEFITS TOWARD ME?

PSALMS 116:12 “What shall I render unto the Lord [for] all his benefits toward me?”

Introduction:

a. Render – to lay down; to bring back; to deliver; to give

PSALMS 116:12 “What shall I render unto the Lord [for] all his benefits toward me?”

1. WE CAN RENDER OUR FAITHFULNESS TO WORSHIPING GOD

PSALMS 122:1 “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.”

ACTS 2:46 “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,”

MATTHEW 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

2. WE CAN RENDER OUR FAITHFULNESS IN GIVING TO GOD.

MALACHI 3:10 “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].”

MALACHI 3:8 “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.”

ACTS 20:35 “I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

2 CORINTHIANS 9:7 “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

3. WE CAN RENDER OUR FAITHFULNESS IN OUR SERVICE TO GOD

HEBREWS 3:5 “And Moses verily [was] faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;”

HEBREWS 3:1-2 “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Heb 3:2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses [was faithful] in all his house.”

4. WE CAN RENDER OUR FAITHFULNESS IN PRAYER TO GOD

DANIEL 6:9-13 “Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.”

Dan 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Dan 6:11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

Dan 6:12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask [a petition] of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing [is] true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

5. WE CAN RENDER OUR FAITHFULNESS IN FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

MATTHEW 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.”

a. Dakilang huwaran ang ating Panginoong Jesucristo.

LUKE 19:10 “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

1 CORINTHIANS 9:19-22 “For though I be free from all [men], yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.”

* God bless you all*
