[H] [PREACHING LESSON 12:] WHY DO SO MANY LOST PEOPLE GO TO HELL AND ONLY FEW GO TO HEAVEN?

(Bakit napakarami ang tutungo sa impyerno at kakaunti lamang ang tutungo sa langit?)

MATTHEW 7:13-14 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mt 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Panimula:

a.     Maliwanag na pinatotohanan sa ating talata na mas marami ang tutungo sa impiyerno kaysa tutungo sa langit. Ito ay malungkot na balita.

b.    Maliwanag din na pinatotohanan ng Banal na Kasulatan ang mga kadahilanan kung bakit mas marami ang mapapahamak sa impiyerno.

Mga dahilan kung bakit kasama natin ang Diyos sa ating pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay sa mundong ibabaw:

1. BECAUSE OF LACK OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE DOCTRINE OF HELL

(Dahil sa kawalan ng kaalaman tungkol sa doktrina ng impiyerno)

HOSEA 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

a.     Maliwanag sa Salita ng Panginoon na totoong mapapahamak ang tao dahil sa kawalan ng kaalaman sa Salita ng Diyos.

b.    Dahil sa kawalan ng kaalaman ng mga tao sa Salita ng Diyos, ito ang pagkakataon ng mga bulaang tagapagturo upang dayain sila sa pamamagitan ng kanilang salit-saling paniniwala at mga pilosopiya.

COLOSSIANS 2:8 “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

c.      Darating ang panahon na isasara ng mga tao ang kanilang mga tainga na makinig ng katotohanan sa Salita ng Diyos.

2TIMOTHY 4:3-4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Tim 4:4 And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

2. BECAUSE OF LACK OF LOVE OF THE CHRISTIAN FOR LOST PEOPLE TO BE SAVED

(Dahil sa kawalan ng pag-ibig ng Kristiyano sa mga di-ligtas)

JOHN 4:33-35 “Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him [ought] to eat?
Jn 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Jn 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

a.     Ang mga humayong alagad ng Panginoon na sa halip na mag-akay mas inuna pa ang paghahanap ng pagkain kaysa mag-akay ng kaluluwa.

b.    Dahil sa kawalan nila ng pagmamahal sa mga kaluluwa, lagi silang lumiliban sa pag-aakay. Katunayan lamang na wala silang malasakit na akayin ang mga di-ligtas.

2PETER 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

c.      Ang hamon ni Hesus sa kanila ay itingin nila ang kanilang mga mata sa napakaraming mga kaluluwa na handa na para anihin.

JOHN 4:35 “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

3. BECAUSE OF LACK OF PRAYER OF THE CHURCH FOR LOST PEOPLE TO BE SAVED

(Dahil sa kawalan ng panalangin ng iglesya para sa mga tao na maligtas)

PSALMS 2:8 “Ask of me, and I shall give [thee] the heathen [for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth [for] thy possession.”

a.     Ang Diyos ang nag-utos sa iglesya lokal na ipanalangin natin ang mga bansa at ang Diyos ay sasagot at ililigtas ang makasalanang bansa.

b.    Magandang huwaran si Pablo sa pagiging mapanalangining Kristiyano patungkol sa kaligtasan ng mga kaluluwa.

ROMANS 10:1 “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.”

c.      Nanalangin ang iglesya ng Jerusalem para sa kaligtasan ng kanilang komunidad at ang Diyos ay sumagot sa kanilang panalangin.

ACTS 2:41 “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.”

4. BECAUSE OF LACK OF TEARS FOR THE SALVATION OF LOST SOULS

(Dahil sa kawalan ng luha para sa kaligtasan ng mga makasalanan)

PSALMS 126:5-6 “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Pss 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [with him].”

a.     Tinitiyak ng Diyos na ang mga nag-aakay ng mga kaluluwa na may luha ay walang pag-aalinlangang may aanihing kaluluwa na maliligtas.

b.    Ang tiyak na kasagutan sa panalangin natin para sa kaligtasan ng ating mga mahal sa buhay ay ang ating mahalagang luha.

c.      Patotoo ni Pablo na maraming luha ang nailagay niya sa pag-aakay kalakip ng sipag at pagsisikap.

ACTS 20:19 “Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:”

5. BECAUSE OF LACK OF SOULWINNERS TO REACH THE LOST BY THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

(Dahil sa kakulangan ng mga tagapag-akay ng kaluluwa upang maabot ang mga makasalanan ng ebanghelyo ni Cristo)

LUKE 10:2 “Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”

a.     Hinamon ni Kristo ang mga alagad na manalangin ng mang-aani ng mga kaluluwa.

b.    Magandang huwaran ang iglesya lokal ng Jerusalem sa pagkakaroon ng maraming Kristiyanong nag-aakay ng kaluluwa. Ang lahat ng miyembro ay mga matatapat na mga tagapag-akay ng mga kaluluwa.

ACTS 2:47 “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

ACTS 5:41-42 “And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

Acts 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”

Malungkot na katotohanan na marami ang tutungo sa impiyerno kaysa tutungo sa langit.
