[O] [PREACHING LESSON 16:] GOD SAID 'PRECIOUS IN HIS SIGHT IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS'

 GOD SAID 'PRECIOUS IN HIS SIGHT IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS.'

 

( Psalms 116 :15 ) Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

 

 * GOD SAID PRECIOUS IN HIS SIGHT IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS.

 

1. PRECIOUS BECAUSE CHRISTIANS ARE BOUGHT WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

 

( I Peter 1:18-19 ) 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

a. Saved person are precious in the sight of God because we bought by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus.

2. PRECIOUS BECAUSE CHRISTIANS ARE NOW WITH PRESENCE OF GOD.

 

( II Corinthians 5:8 ) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

a. Christian are promoted by God from earthly to heavenly.

" absent from the body is to present with Lord."

 

3. PRECIOUS BECAUSE CHRISTIAN NOW ENJOYING A LIFE WITHOUT SICKNESS AND NO MORE PAIN AND NO MORE TEARS AND NO MORE DEATH THE BIBLE SAID.

 

( Revelation 21:4 ) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

 

4. PRECIOUS BECAUSE CHRISTIAN ARE ENJOYING THE MANSION GOD PROMISE FOR HIS PEOPLE.

 

( John 14: 1-3 ) 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

 

5. PRECIOUS BECAUSE CHRISTIAN ARE A HEAVEN CITIZEN FOREVER WITH THE LORD.

( Hebrews 11: 15-16 ) 15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
