WHY MOST LOST PEOPLE IGNORED AND NOT INTERESTED ABOUT PREACHING OF HELL?
(Mathew 10:28) "And
fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but
rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
INTRODUCTION:
a.
This is an honest observation: most lost people ignore and disregard the
teaching of hell from the Word of God.
b. But
even though they ignored and disregarded the doctrine of hell, still, they
cannot change the truth of the Bible that hell is real, and they cannot change
their sure destiny of going to hell because the Bible says the Lord Jesus
Christ is the only way to heaven and the only way to escape going to hell.
(John 14:6) "Jesus
saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the
Father, but by me."
(John 5:24) "Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent
me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed
from death unto life."

Reasons Why the Lost People Ignore and Disregard the Teaching About Hell
1.
Because they do not know the Bible.
(John 8:32) "And
ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
This
first reason is really true; lost people ignore this important truth for lack
of knowledge from the word of God. Now this is the important part for the Christians:
to be ready to share the gospel of Christ.
(I Peter 3:15) "But
sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to
every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and
fear:"
(Romans 10:14) "How
then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they
believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a
preacher?"

Because lost people will not choose to hear the scary and horrible teaching of
Hell but rather things that are good for their ears.
(II Timothy 4:3-4) "Forbidding
to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be
received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth."
v.4: "For every creature of God is good, and
nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
This
is now true experience: that lost people refute the right doctrine of
hell."

Because lost people were deceived by the false teachers.
(II Corinthians 11:13-15) "For
such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the
apostles of Christ." v.14:
"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of
light." v.15: "Therefore it is
no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of
righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
The
devil was very successful at brainwashing their followers and deceiving them.

Because lost people, most of them do not believe that there is life after
death.
(Luke 16::19-24) "And
the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and
healed them all." v.20: "And he lifted up his eyes on his
disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of
God." v.21: "Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye
shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh." v.22:
"Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall
separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name
as evil, for the Son of man's sake." v.23: "Rejoice ye in that day,
and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like
manner did their fathers unto the prophets." v.24:
"But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your
consolation."
The
Bible tells us that there is life after death. Souls of men after death will
perish in Hell forever and ever. The 5
senses of the souls of men are still present even during judgement in hell.
(Hebrews 9:27) "And
as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

Because lost people enjoy much in their good life on earth and are not interested
to hear the teaching about hell.
(Luke 12:16-21) "And
he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought
forth plentifully:" v.17: "And
he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room
where to bestow my fruits?" v.18:
"And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build
greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods." v.19: "And I will say to my soul, Soul,
thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and
be merry." v. 20: "But God
said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then
whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?" v.21: "So is he that layeth up treasure
for himself, and is not rich toward God."
What a
sad truth and reality that most lost people ignore and disregard the reality of
hell. This is really a very sad reality and honest observation.
Christians,
let us continue to pray for more lost people to be saved.
