WHAT IF YOU DIE TODAY? DO YOU KNOW 100% WHERE YOUR SOUL WILL GO, WHETHER HEAVEN OR HELL?
(Hebrews 9:27) "And
as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
a.
This is an honest question from the bottom of my heart because we are concerned
for your "precious soul" that can be assured of going to heaven for
eternity, my dear friend.
b. The
Bible tells us that there is life after death; do not believe others who say
that after death there is no more, like the life of the animals. God created men with a
living soul.
(Genesis 2:7) "And
the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his
nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
4
Simple Things You Need to Know in Order for You to Make a Firm Decision to Be
Saved
1. You
need to know that God loves you, and He wants you to be saved now.
(John 3:16) "For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
God
proved His love to you by giving His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who died
on the cross of Calvary to redeem us from our sins.
( Romans 5:8-9 ) "But
God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us." v.9: "Much more
then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through
him."
2. You
need to know that being a sinner, you cannot help yourself to save your soul.
(Romans 5:12) "Wherefore,
as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed
upon all men, for that all have sinned:"
We are
bankrupt of God's righteousness; that is why we need a Savior who can save our soul.
(1 John 2:2) "And
He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the
sins of the whole world."
God
provided us the Savior of the whole world.
3. You
need to know that the very reason you need to be saved now is because
"Hell" is a real place.
(Luke 16:19-25) "There
was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared
sumptuously every day:" v.20:
"And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate,
full of sores," v.21: "And desiring to be fed with the crumbs
which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his
sores." v.22: "And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was
carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was
buried;" v.23: "And in hell he
lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in
his bosom." v.24: "And he
cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may
dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in
this flame." v.25: "But
Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good
things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art
tormented."
That
if you die today and you do not know 100% where your soul will go, if you die today without Christ in your heart, your soul will go to "Hell," and you will die without the promise of God of eternal life, without hope, and
without God in this world, the Bible says.
(Ephesians 2:12) "That
at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of
Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and
without God in the world:"
4. You
need to know that you can be saved now.
(Romans 10:9) "That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
This
is good news for you, my dear friend. Your firm decision is important. First, confess that you are a sinner before God. Second, admit that you cannot save
yourself by your religion and good works or deeds; you are hopeless and helpless and need Jesus in your life today to save your soul.
"Now"
is the day of your "salvation."
(II Corinthians 6:2) "(For
he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation
have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day
of salvation.)"
Do not
wait for tomorrow, because we don't know what will happen ahead.
(James 4:14) "Whereas ye
know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a
vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."
Life
is so short, but now is the day appointed for your soul to be saved.
God
bless you. I want to lead you in a simple prayer for accepting Jesus Christ as
the Lord and Savior of your life.
Dear
God, thank you for this message of a simple lesson for my salvation. I admit with
all my heart that I am a sinner before you. I admit I cannot save my soul by my
own religion and good works. I believe
the death and precious blood of Jesus Christ is enough to redeem me from all my
sins, and now I open my heart and my mind, accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as my
Lord and Savior of my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
