THANK GOD I'VE KNOWN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR OF MY LIFE
Romans 10:9 "If
thou shalt confess with thy mounth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
a.
There are multiple spiritual things the Christian enjoys that money and rich
people can't, after accepting the Lord Jesus Christ in our life.
1.
With Jesus Christ, we can enjoy eternal life.
(I John 5:13,20) 1Jn 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of
God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the
name of the Son of God.
1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come,
and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we
are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God,
and eternal life.
God
promises us eternal life the moment we receive Him, and we can claim and
testify to other people that we have eternal life while on earth, because Jesus
Christ is the “... Son, He is the true God and Eternal Life."
2. With
Jesus Christ, we can enjoy peace with God in our lives.
(Romans 6:1) "Therefore
being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
Christ."
This
is the peace that we enjoy, not a temporal one that the world can give, but a
perfect peace that only God can give to those who have faith in Jesus Christ. We have peace because we have no more condemnation in hell and protection from evil works of the devil in this wicked world.
(John 5:24) Jn 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him
that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but
is passed from death unto life.
(Romans 8:1) Rom 8:1
[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
He
promises that He will not sleep and not slumber for our own sake to protect us.
Amen!!!
(Psalms 121:1-5) Pss 121:1 I
will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
Pss 121:2 My help [cometh] from the Lord, which
made heaven and earth.
Pss 121:3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Pss 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall
neither slumber nor sleep.
Pss 121:5 The Lord [is] thy keeper: the Lord [is]
thy shade upon thy right hand.
3.
With Jesus Christ, we can enjoy hope in glory.
(Colossians 1:27) Col 1:27 To
whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery
among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
"... which is Christ in you, the hope of
glory." The hope of the Christian is not only on this hopeless world but perfectly upon heavenly glory. We have hope at the coming of the Lord Jesus
Christ, and that is a blessed assurance for all the Christians all over the
world.
(Titus 2:13) Tit 2:13
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and
our Saviour Jesus Christ;
4.
With Jesus Christ, we can enjoy the dwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
(Ephesians 1:13) Eph 1:13 In
whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of
your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that
holy Spirit of promise,
The
moment you trust the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells in your life, and
His purpose is to testify that we are the children of God and bless us with
the fruit of the Holy Spirit and guide us to be effective and be fruitful in
serving God.
(Romans 8:14-16) Rom 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of
bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we
cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with
our spirit, that we are the children of God:
(Galatians 5:22-23) Gal 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there
is no law.
(Acts 1:8) Acts 1:8
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye
shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
5.
With Jesus Christ we can enjoy being in the Body of Christ in His Church.
(I Corinthians 12:12-28) 1Cor 12:12
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one
body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.
1Cor 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized
into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free;
and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1Cor 12:14 For the body is not one member, but
many.
1Cor 12:15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not
the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1Cor 12:16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am
not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1Cor 12:17 If the whole body [were] an eye, where
[were] the hearing? If the whole [were] hearing, where [were] the smelling?
1Cor 12:18 But now hath God set the members every
one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
1Cor 12:19 And if they were all one member, where
[were] the body?
1Cor 12:20 But now [are they] many members, yet
but one body.
1Cor 12:21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I
have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
1Cor 12:22 Nay, much more those members of the
body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
1Cor 12:23 And those [members] of the body, which
we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and
our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness.
1Cor 12:24 For our comely [parts] have no need:
but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to
that [part] which lacked:
1Cor 12:25 That there should be no schism in the
body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
1Cor 12:26 And whether one member suffer, all the
members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with
it.
1Cor 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and
members in particular.
1Cor 12:28 And God hath set some in the church,
first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles,
then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
Jesus
Christ established His church during His earthly ministry, and He is the Head and
the Founder, and He bought His church with His precious blood.
( Acts 20:28 ) Acts 20:28
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the
Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath
purchased with his own blood.
Now
His church was commissioned by Christ to reach the world by His gospel. For this
reason, I thank God I am now part of the body of Christ, to serve Him and His
partner in reaching the lost at any cost.
Thank
God I've known Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. * God bless you all always.
