WHAT DO LOST PEOPLE REALLY NEED HELP WITH IN ORDER TO KNOW THE SAVIOR?
Romans 10:1 "Brethren, my heart's
desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved."
a. As Christians, we can help as we can to save many
lost people for their urgent need of salvation for their soul.
b. The Bible gave some good and possible way to
know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior for their soul.
5 Good
Things Christians Can Do to Help the Lost People to Know the Savior:
1.
They need prayerful Christians that can help them to know the Savior
(Romans 10:1) Rom 10:1
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be
saved.
Paul
prayed for the salvation of his fellow Israelites to be saved. With prayer, things that seem impossible become possible. Paul also prayed for the Philippian
jailer and the prisoners, and God answered his prayers.
(Acts 16:25-33) Acts 16:25
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the
prisoners heard them.
Acts 16:26 And suddenly there was a great
earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately
all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
Acts 16:27 And the keeper of the prison awaking
out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and
would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
Acts 16:28 But Paul cried with a loud voice,
saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
Acts 16:29 Then he called for a light, and sprang
in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs,
what must I do to be saved?
Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord
Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Acts 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the
Lord, and to all that were in his house.
Acts 16:33 And he took them the same hour of the
night, and washed [their] stripes; and was baptized, he and all his,
straightway.
2. They need servant-hearted Christians that can help them to know the Savior.
(I Corinthians 9:19 ) "For
though I be free from all men, yet I have made myself servant unto all, that I
might gain the more."
This
was Paul’s good testimony as to why he was very effective in reaching and winning
lost people; it is by being a servant unto all people, especially for the lost
one. Amen and Amen!!!
3. They
need ready Christians to share the gospel with them and help them to know the Savior.
(Romans 1:16 ) "For I
am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto
salvation, to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the
Greek."
As Christians, we should always be ready to share the gospel of Christ with the lost people.
(Acts 2:41) Acts 2:41
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there
were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
4.
They need humble and concerned Christians to help them to know the Savior.
( Acts 20:19-20 ) "Serving
the Lord with all humility of mind, and with the many tears, and temptations,
which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews".
Yes,
tears are very precious in the eyes of God, and this speaks of the love of the Christians
for the lost people. Amen!!!
5. They
need faithful Christians to help them to know the Savior.
(2 Timothy 2:2) "And
the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses , the same commit
thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."
God
needs and deserves a faithful partner in winning the lost people at any cost.
