WHY DO LOST
PEOPLE NEED HELP?
(Luke 19:10) "For the Son of man is
come, to seek and to save that which was lost."
a. The
Lord Jesus was the very first person who expressed His love and concern for the
lost people for the salvation of their souls.
b.
Christ created man with a living and eternal soul. He knew very well that the
souls of men are very precious.
(Mark 8:36) "For
what shall a profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul?

Things Why Lost Souls Needs the Help of Genuine Christians
1. Lost are those without Christ and without hope and without God in this world.
(Ephesians 2:12) "That
at that time ye were without Christ, and ye were aliens of the commonwealth of
Israel, and strangers of the covenants of promise, having no hope and without
God of this world:"
They
need help because they have no Christ in their hearts. Their
"religion" and their "good works" are in vain, but only
Christ can save their own souls.
(Romans 10:9) Rom 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
2.
Lost are without relationship with God.
(John 1:12-13) Jn 1:12 But
as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
[even] to them that believe on his name:
Jn 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the
will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
The
lost people need to accept Christ in their lives in order to have a
relationship with God and belong to the family of God in Heaven.
Jn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them
gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his
name:
But
those who are lost or unbelievers are still the children of the Devil; that’s
what the Bible says (John 8:44).
Jn 8:44 Ye are of [your] father the devil, and
the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and
abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a
lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
3.
Lost are without name in the book of life.
(Revelation 20:15 ) "Whosoever
who was not found in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
So,
Christians, the lost people need our help to know the only Savior, Jesus Christ,
and be saved so that their names will be written in the Book of Life.
(Luke 10:20) Lk 10:20
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but
rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
4.
Lost are those without the Spirit of Christ.
(Romans 8:9) "Ye
are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit. if so be that the Spirit God dwell in
you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His."
The
lost people need our help to share with them the gospel of Christ and be saved.
(Romans 1:16) "For i
am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first and also to the
Greeks."
Christians,
let us help the lost people to know the only Savior, Jesus Christ; this is our
greatest job for them. For Christ came to the world to seek and to save that
which was lost.
