WHY IS WINNING THE LOST A GREAT PRIVILEGE FOR EVERY INDIVIDUAL CHRISTIAN?
(John 3:16) "For God so love the
world that He gave His only beggotten Son, and that whosoever believeth in Him,
should not perish but have everlasting life."
a. The
great privilege of the Christians is to be a partner of God in His great
business of saving the lost people, which is sharing the gospel of Christ.
(Romans 1:16) Rom 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
5
Things About the Privilege of The Christians in Winning the Lost People
1. The
privilege of sharing the love of God with the unlovable people.
(John 3:16) Jn 3:16 For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(Romans 3:23) Rom 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
2. The
privilege of proclaiming the gospel of Christ as the power of God to save
those who will believe.
(Romans 1:16) Rom 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
3. The
privilege of fulfilling the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Mathew 28:19-20) Mt 28:19 Go
ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the
end of the world. Amen.
From
all the great ministries of the Christians to God, winning the lost is the
greatest commission given to His local church.
4. The privilege of giving the reason to rejoice in heaven because of the precious
souls being saved in soulwinning.
(Luke 15:3-7) Lk 15:3 And
he spake this parable unto them, saying,
Lk 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep,
if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness,
and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
Lk 15:5 And when he hath found [it], he layeth
[it] on his shoulders, rejoicing.
Lk 15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth
together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I
have found my sheep which was lost.
Lk 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be
in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just
persons, which need no repentance.
5. The
privilege of helping the hopeless and helpless lost people to experience hope
in Christ.
(Colossians 1:27) Col 1:27 To
whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery
among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
(Ephesians 2:12) Eph 2:12
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of
Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and
without God in the world:
Before
we are without hope and without God in this world, the Bible says.
Thank
God for this great privilege of winning lost people. I love to know these
wonderful things for the soulwinner of the Lord.
* God
bless you all always. *
