SALVATION IS BY THE GRACE OF GOD

 

(Ephesians 2:8-9) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"

 v9: "Not of works, lest any man should boast."

 

a. Oh!!! What great news and a blessing that our salvation is by the grace of God.

 

b. Soulwinners are more confident and eager to share the gospel of Christ because sinners are possible to be saved because salvation of our soul is by the grace of God. Amen and amen!!!

 

4 Things About Salvation: It Is By The Grace Of God

 

1. Salvation is by the grace of God because Christ placed Himself as a sinner in our stead on the cross of Calvary to pay our sins in full.

(Romans 5:8-9) "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."  v.9: "Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

 

This is reason why we are confident that all of our sins were forgiven and forgotten.

 

(Hebrews 10:17) "And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more."

 

The precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ made it possible. Amen and amen!!!

 

(Ephesiians 1:7) "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"

 

2. Salvation is by the grace of God because we received it as a gift of God.

 

(Ephesians 2:8) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:",

 

(Romans 6:23) "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

 

Salvation is a wonderful gift of God for all mankind. God can judge us right away, but because of His great love and mercy, He spared and saved us by His bountiful grace.

 

(Ephesians 2:4-5) "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us," v.5: "Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)"

 

3. Salvation is by the grace of God because it is not by the work of righteousness of man.

 

(Ephesians 2:9) "Not of works, lest any man should boast.",

 

(Titus 3:5) "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;"

 

If salvation is by the work of righteousness of men, we will boast before God. But thank God, we received our salvation by His grace. Amen and amen!!!

 

4. Salvation is by the grace of God because God loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for us.

 

(John 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

The love of God offers to all "that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have an everlasting life." Oh, what a wonderful promise of salvation by God's grace. We will receive it as a gift of God, and you will be saved. Amen and amen!!!

 

(Romans 10:9) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
