[G] [PREACHING LESSON 2:] LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION

(Huwag mo kaming ihatid sa tukso)
MATTHEW 6:13 “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

Panimula:
a.     Matatagpuan sa panalangin ng Diyos.
d.    Lahat tayo ay humaharap sa mga tukso.
JAMES 1:13-15 “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
Jas 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Jas 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”

1CORINTHIANS 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].”

1. THE PRAYER THAT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT OUR FLESH IS WEAK
ROMANS 8:4-8 “That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

2. THE PRAYER THAT ACKNOWLEDGES OUR FORMER FATHER THE DEVIL IS WORKING TO DECEIVE US
JOHN 8:44 “Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

JOHN 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.”

3. THE PRAYER THAT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT OUR FLESH WILL OVERCOME TEMPTATION BY THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
GALATIANS 5:16, 25 “[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

4. THE PRAYER THAT ACKNOWLEDGES OUR FIRM FAITH TO GOD WILL BE REWARDED OF VICTORY OVER TEMPTATION
MATTHEW 26:41 “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed [is] willing, but the flesh [is] weak.”

1JOHN 5:4-5 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.
1Jn 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”

Pangwakas:
MATTHEW 6:13 “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”

Pagpalain kayong lahat ng Diyos.
