THE GREAT PURPOSE OF RENEWING THE MIND OF THE CHRISTIAN

(Ang dakilang layunin ng pagbabago ng isip ng Kristiyano)

 

ROMANS 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.”

 

Panimula:

 

a.     May seryosong hamon si Pablo sa mga Kristiyano na magsipagbago ng kanilang pag-iisip upang ang ating pamumuhay ay totoong katanggap-tanggap sa Diyos.

 

b.    Ang hamon ni Pablo sa atin para tayo ay mabago ay kunin natin ang kaisipan na mayroon ang Panginoong Hesus at gawin itong ating kaisipan.

 

PHILIPPIANS 2:5 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:”

 

Apat (4) na dakilang layunin ng pagbabago ng kaisipan ng Kristiyano:

1. SO THAT WE CAN SERVE THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD

(Upang makapaglingkod tayo sa totoo at buhay na Diyos)

 

1THESSALONIANS 1:9 “For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;”

 

a.     Ang dati nating pinaglilingkuran ay mga rebultong gawa ng kamay ng mga tao sabi ni Pablo.

 

b.    Mahalaga na magbago tayo ng ating pag-iisip upang talikuran ang mga maling pinaglilingkuran natin noon nang tayo ay hindi pa ligtas.

 

c.      Ang ating Diyos na pinaglilingkuran ay Diyos na lumalang ng lahat ng bagay sa mundo at makapangyarihang Diyos at walang bagay na mahirap sa kanya.

 

JEREMIAH 32:17-18 “Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, [and] there is nothing too hard for thee:
Jer 32:18 Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the Lord of hosts, [is] his name,”

 

2. SO THAT WE CAN SEEK THE WILL OF GOD IN OUR LIFE

(Upang mahanap natin ang kalooban ng Diyos sa ating buhay)

 

HEBREWS 10:7 “Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

 

a.     Ang Panginoong Hesus ang ating dakilang huwaran sa paghahanap at pagganap ng kalooban ng Diyos sa ating buhay.

 

b.    Ang kalooban ng Diyos ay laging ayon sa sinasabi at itinuturo ng Salita ng Diyos.

 

COLOSSIANS 1:9 “For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;”

 

Þ   Nais ng Diyos na mapuno tayo ng kaalaman ng Kanyang kalooban.

 

c.      Kalooban ng Diyos na lumakad tayo sa ikalulgod Niya at maging mabunga sa ating buhay Kristiyano.

 

COLOSSIANS 1:10 “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;”

 

3. SO THAT WE CAN SURRENDER OUR WHOLE LIFE TO THE LORD

(Upang maisuko natin ang ating buong buhay sa Panginoon)

 

LUKE 14:27 “And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.”

 

a.     Nais ng Panginoon na ating isuko ang ating buhay sa Kanya upang kayanin ang Kanyang krus na ating bubuhatin.

 

b.    Nais ng Diyos na unahin natin lagi natin Siya nang higit sa lahat.

 

LUKE 14:26 “If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”

 

c.      Ang Kristiyanong isinuko ang kanyang buhay sa Panginoon ay laging may katiyakan ng pagtatagumpay sa kaniyang buhay Kristiyano.

 

2TIMOTHY 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:”

 

4. SO THAT WE CAN BE EFFECTIVE SERVANT OF CHRIST TO REACH MORE PRECIOUS SOULS

(Upang maging epektibo tayong lingkod ni Cristo sa pag-abot ng mga mahahalagang mga kaluluwa)

 

1CORINTHIANS 9:19 “For though I be free from all [men], yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.”

 

a.     Kailangan nating magbago ng ating pag-iisip upang lalo nating mahalin at maakay ang mga kaluluwa na kailangang maligtas.

b.    Isipin ng Kristiyano ang lahat ng paraan para maging mabunga sa pag-aakay ng kaluluwa.

 

1CORINTHIANS 9:20-21 “And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
1Cor 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.”

 

Pangwakas:

Ang hamon na magbago ng ating pag-isip ay mahalagang ganapin ng bawat Kristiyano upang hindi tayo makasabay sa agos ng pamumuhay ng mga hindi mananampalataya.

 

2CORINTHIANS 6:14, 17,18 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2Cor 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you,
2Cor 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

 

Pagpalain kayong lahat ng Diyos.
