WHERE ARE
THE FIVE BROTHERS OF THE RICH MAN IN HELL THAT NEED TO BE SAVED?
(Nasaan ang limang kapatid ng
mayamang nasa impiyerno na kailangang maligtas?)
LUKE 16:27-28 “Then
he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my
father’s house:
Lk 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they
also come into this place of torment.”
Panimula:
a. Ang
kwentong ito ay totoo na ang mayamang napahamak sa impiyerno ay nagkaroon ng
pagmamalasakit sa kanyang limang kapatid na lalaki upang sila ay mangaligtas at
huwag mapahamak sa lugar ng impiyerno.
b. Ang
totoo dapat tayong mga ligtas ang nagmamalasakit sa kaligtasan ng ating mga
kapatid, kamag-anak at mga kaibigan. Kaya ang aralin na ito ay hamon sa bawat
Kristiyano na tayo dapat ang nagmamalasakit sa lahat ng tao na nangangailangan
ng kaligtasan.
ROMANS 10:1 “Brethren,
my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.”
Panalangin ni Pablo na maligtas
ang kanyang mga kababayang Israelita.
Ang limang kapatid ng mayaman
na kailangang maligtas:
1. THE FIRST BROTHER IS
STILL LOST AND BELONGS TO THOSE WHO SCATTERED ABROAD
(Ang unang kapatid ay hindi pa
rin ligtas at kabilang sa mga nagsisipangalat kung saan-saan)
MATTHEW 9:36 “But when
he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they
fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.”
a. Totoong
nahahabag ang Panginoong Hesus sa napakaraming mga makasalanan na nangangalat
sa buong mundo na nangangailangan ng kaligtasan.
b. Sila
amg napakaraming aanihing mga kaluluwa na handa nang makinig ng ebanghelyo ni
Cristo upang maligtas.
JOHN 4:35 “Say not
ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto
you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to
harvest.”
2. THE SECOND BROTHER IS
STILL LOST AND BELONGS TO THOSE WHO WALKED ON THE WIDE GATE THAT LEADS UNTO
DESTRUCTION
(Ang pangalawang kapatid ay
hindi pa rin ligtas at kabilang sa mga lumalakad sa malawak na pintuang patungo
sa pagkawasak)
MATTHEW 7:13-14 “Enter ye
in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that
leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mt 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth
unto life, and few there be that find it.”
a. Sila
ang mga taong relihiyoso. Iniisip nila na doon sila maliligtas.
MATTHEW 7:21-23 “Not
every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of
heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in
thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works?
Mt 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye
that work iniquity.”
b. Sila
ang mga taong nag-iisip na sila ay maliligtas sa kanilang pagganap at
paglilingkod sa simbahan.
c. Ngunit
malungkot na hinatulan sila ng Diyos na hindi Niya sila nakikilala.
MATTHEW 7:23 “And then
will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work
iniquity.”
3. THE THIRD BROTHER IS
STILL LOST AND BELONGS TO THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THERE IS GOD
(Ang ikatlong kapatid ay hindi
pa rin ligtas at kabilang sa mga hindi naniniwala na mayroong Diyos)
PSALMS 14:1 “The fool
hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done
abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good.”
a. Maraming
tao ang ganito ang mga paniniwala. Ito ay kanilang pilosopiya sa buhay batay sa
Salita ng Diyos.
COLOSSIANS 2:8 “Beware
lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition
of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”
b. Ang
diyablo ang dumadaya at bumubulag sa kanilang kaisipan upang sila ay hindi
manampalataya kay Cristo Jesus.
2CORINTHIANS 4:4 “In
whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,
should shine unto them.”
4. THE FOURTH BROTHER IS
STILL LOST AND BELONGS TO RICH PEOPLE THAT SEEK ONLY TO ENJOY LIFE ON EARTH
(Ang ikaapat na kapatid ay
hindi pa rin ligtas at kabilang sa mga mayayaman na naghahanap lamang ng
kasiyahan sa buhay sa mundong ito)
LUKE 16:19-20 “There was
a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared
sumptuously every day:
Lk 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his
gate, full of sores,”
a. Tinawag
ng Diyos ang taong ito na mangmang at isang hangal na tao na ang nais lamang ay
magapakaligaya sa buhay.
b. Nalimutan
ng taong ito na mas mahalaga ang kanyang kaluluwa kaysa sa salapi o kayamanan.
MARK 8:36 “For what
shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul?”
5. THE FIFTH BROTHER IS
STILL LOST AND BELONGS TO THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE AND WRATH
(Ang ikalimang kapatid ay hindi
pa rin ligtas at kabilang sa mga anak ng pagsuway at pagkagalit)
EPHESIANAS 2:2-3 “Wherein in
time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the
prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of
disobedience:
Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts
of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by
nature the children of wrath, even as others.”
a. Sila
ay mga anak ng diyablo na nagpapatuloy sa gawaing masama at kamunduhan.
b. Sila
ay mga anak pa ng diyablo.
JOHN 8:44 “Ye are of
[your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a
murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no
truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar,
and the father of it.”
Pangwakas:
Ang mayamang nasa impiyerno ay
nagkaroon ng pagmamalasakit sa kanyang limang kapatid na sila ay huwag
mapahamak sa lugar ng impiyerno. Sana ito ay maging hamon sa totoong mga ligtas
na kayo ay magkaroon ng malasakit sa inyong mga mahal sa buhay na sila din ay
maligtas.
ACTS 16:31 “And they
said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy
house.”
Pagpalain kayong lahat ng
Diyos.
