[FF] [PREACHING LESSON 6:] THE CHRISTIAN ARE FORGIVEN OF GOD, AND THEY ARE READY FOR DOING GOOD WORK

 THE CHRISTIAN ARE FORGIVEN OF GOD, AND THEY ARE READY FOR DOING GOOD WORK

( Ephesians 1:7 ) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

( 2 Timothy 3:17 ) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

* To serve the Lord is a great privilege of every individual God created, and only those who are forgiven of their sin are qualified to serve the Holy God.

* To be given a privilege to serve the Holy God is a great blessing on the part of the believers of Christ.

MULTIPLE SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS THE CHRISTIANS ENJOY IN SERVING GOD.

1. CHRISTIANS ENJOY THE PRESENCE AND WORKING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN THEIR LIFE.

( Acts 1:8 ) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

* The Holy Spirit is ready to support the Christian to guide and give them wisdom in all truth of the Word of God.

2. CHRISTIANS ENJOY THE GIFTS FROM GOD TO BE USED IN SERVING HIM.

( Romans 12:6-11 ) [6]Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

[7]Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

[8]Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

[9]Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

[10]Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

[11]Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

3. THE CHRISTIANS ENJOY THE SUFFICIENT GRACE OF GOD SO THAT WE SERVE GOD EFFECTIVELY AND FRUITFULLY IN THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD

( II Corinthians 12:9-10 ) [9]And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

[10]Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

4. THE CHRISTIANS ENJOY THE GREAT MINISTRY OF PREACHING AND SHARING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

( Romans 1:15-16 ) [15]So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

[16]For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

*( Acts 2:36-41 ) [36]Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

[37]Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

[38]Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

[39]For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

[40]And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

[41]Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

5. THE CHRISTIANS ENJOY COMING TO THE THRONE OF GRACE OF GOD TO PRAY AND RECEIVE GOD'S ANSWERS TO OUR PRAYERS.

( Hebrews 4:16 ) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

6. THE CHRISTIANS ENJOY THE PRIVILEGE OF GIVING GOD THE GLORY AND PRAISE.

( Colossians 1:10 ) That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

7. THE CHRISTIAN ENJOYS BEING THE CO-LABORER OF GOD IN HIS MINISTRY.

( 1 Corinthians 3:9-10 ) [9]For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

[10]According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

* God bless you all always. *
