THE
UNCHANGING GOD NEVER CHANGE IN DEALING, WORKING, AND MOVING IN THE LIVES OF HIS
DEAR PEOPLE.
(Hebrews 13:8) Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever
( Malachi 3:6 ) For I am
the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
*
INTRODUCTION:
God is
the Creator God, and He never changes from being a powerful God, and nothing is
impossible for Him.
Genesis 1:1-5 [1]In the
beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
[2]And the earth was without form, and void; and
darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the
face of the waters.
[3]And God said, Let there be light: and there was
light.
[4]And God saw the light, that it was good: and
God divided the light from the darkness.
[5]And God called the light Day, and the darkness
he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
b. Our
God is not only unchanging but also all-knowing. He is an everlasting God, the
Creator of all things, who does not grow weary and gives strength to those who
are faint, as the Bible says.
(Isaiah 40:28-31) [28]Hast
thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the
Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no
searching of his understanding.
[29]He giveth power to the faint; and to them that
have no might he increaseth strength.
[30]Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and
the young men shall utterly fall:
[31]But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew
their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and
not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
c. Our
God is not only unchanging but also powerful, and nothing is too hard for Him.
( Jeremiah 32:17-19 ) [17]Ah Lord
GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and
stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
[18]Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands,
and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children
after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,
[19]Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for
thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one
according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
* God
is a Creator God, He is a All Knowing God and a Powerful God and a God who are
present everywhere.
(Psalms 139:7-10) [7]Whither
shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
[8]If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if
I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
[9]If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell
in the uttermost parts of the sea;
[10]Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy
right hand shall hold me.
GREAT
EVIDENCES THAT OUR GOD NEVER CHANGE DEALING TO HIS DEAR CHILDREN IN THEIR
CHRISTIAN LIFE.
1. GOD
IS STILL CHANGING THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN HE NEVER CHANGE IN CHANGING THE OF
THE CHRISTIAN.
(2CORINTHIANS 5:17) “Therefore
if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.”
* God
is always concern for those who become a Christian or accepted Jesus Christ as
their Lord Jesus Savior of their life to be like the Lord Jesus Christ.
( I Peter 2:21 ) For even
hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an
example, that ye should follow his steps:
* God
still working and moving in every individual life of the Christian
( Ephesians 2:10 ) For we are
his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them.
* God
is continue changing the lives of the Christian from being a sinful and worldly
to a holy life like the Lord Jesus Christ.
( John 17:14-21 ) [14]I have
given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the
world, even as I am not of the world.
[15]I pray not that thou shouldest take them out
of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
[16]They are not of the world, even as I am not of
the world.
[17]Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is
truth.
[18]As thou hast sent me into the world, even so
have I also sent them into the world.
[19]And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that
they also might be sanctified through the truth.
[20]Neither pray I for these alone, but for them
also which shall believe on me through their word;
[21]That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art
in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may
believe that thou hast sent me.
* God
is continue changing according to His plan and will to be like the Lord Jesus
Christ.
( II Timothy 1:9 ) Who hath
saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but
according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus
before the world began,
2. GOD
IS STILL CLEANING THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN GOD NEVER CHANGE
( JOHN 15:1-3 ) “I am the
true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Jn 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit
he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it
may bring forth more fruit.
Jn 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I
have spoken unto you.”
* God
commanded all the believers of Christ to holy in all manners of conversation.
Meaning as Child of a holy God we must live a holy and worthy living before
that please and glorify God in our lives.
(Colossians 1:9-10) [9]For this
cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to
desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and
spiritual understanding;
[10]That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all
pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of
God;
* That
Christians should live a life following the step of the Lord Jesus Christ.
( 1 Peter 2:21 ) For even
hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an
example, that ye should follow his steps:
*
Jerusalem Church is a good model Church in living a holy and consistent in
their spiritual life.
( Acts 2:42-47 ) [42]And
they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in
breaking of bread, and in prayers.
[43]And fear came upon every soul: and many
wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
[44]And all that believed were together, and had
all things common;
[45]And sold their possessions and goods, and
parted them to all men, as every man had need.
[46]And they, continuing daily with one accord in
the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with
gladness and singleness of heart,
[47]Praising God, and having favour with all the
people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
3. GOD
IS STILL IN CONTROL EVEN IN GOOD TIME AND BAD TIME IN THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN
GOD NEVER CHANGE
( 2 CORINTHIANS 1:4-10 ) [4].“Who
comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which
are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God
[5]For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us,
so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
[6]And whether we be afflicted, it is for your
consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same
sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your
consolation and salvation.
[7]And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that
as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
[8]For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant
of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure,
above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
[9]But we had the sentence of death in ourselves,
that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
[10]Who delivered us from so great a death, and
doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;.
*
Peter encourages the Christians that when trials and troubles comes, they
rejoice in the Lord.
( I Peter 4:13-16 ) [13]But
rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his
glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
[14]If ye be reproached for the name of Christ,
happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their
part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
[15]But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or
as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.
[16]Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him
not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
* God
is always in control in all situation in your life in bad times and also in
good times. God is always ready to support His dear children.
( 1 Peter 5:10-11 ) [10]But the
God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus,
after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen,
settle you.
[11]To him be glory and dominion for ever and
ever. Amen.
4. GOD
IS STILL CALLING MORE LABOURERS IN HIS VINEYARD TO HARVEST PRECIOUS SOULS OF
MAN GOD NEVER CHANGE.
( LUKE 10:1-3 ) [1]“After
these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two
before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
Lk 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest
truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of
the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Lk 10:3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as
lambs among wolves.”
* The
Lord Jesus Christ ask His disciples to pray for the Lord of the harvest to send
more laborers in the harvest.
( John 4:35 ) Say not ye,
There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you,
Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to
harvest.
* We
need more Soulwinners of Christ to harvest so many lost people in the
Community.
*
Christ encourage His disciples to pray for more Soulwinners and Missionaries of
the Lord Jesus Christ.
( Matthew 9:36-38 ) [36]But
when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they
fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
[37]Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest
truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
[38]Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
* Paul
always give time to train and encourage more believers of Christ to be faithful
soulwinners of the Lord Jesus Christ.
( II Timothy 2:1-6 ) [1]Thou
therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
[2]And the things that thou hast heard of me among
many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to
teach others also.
[3]Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good
soldier of Jesus Christ.
[4]No man that warreth entangleth himself with the
affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a
soldier.
[5]And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is
he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
[6]The husbandman that laboureth must be first
partaker of the fruits.
*
Winning lost is the key to a dynamic growth of the Church.
( Acts 6:4-7 ) [4]But we will give ourselves
continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
[5]And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and
they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and
Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of
Antioch:
[6]Whom they set before the apostles: and when
they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
[7]And the word of God increased; and the number
of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the
priests were obedient to the faith.
5. GOD
IS STILL CHALLENGING THE CHURCH TO GO FOR MISSION INTO ALL THE WORLD GOD NEVER
CHANGE.
( Acts 16:9-10 ) [9]And a
vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and
prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
[10]And after he had seen the vision, immediately
we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had
called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
*( John 4:35 ) Say not ye,
There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you,
Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to
harvest.
* God
always gives the Church the Vision to plant more Missions because the great God
concern is the salvation of all lost sinners.
( I Timothy 2:4 ) Who will
have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
* God
don’t want that any should perish in hell fire forever and ever.
( II Peter 3:9 ) The Lord is
not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance.
*
Every individual Christian should have a great concern for helping lost people
to rescue them from hell judgement.
( Jude 1:23 ) And others
save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted
by the flesh.
*
Souls of sinners are very precious to God and He do not want them to go to hell
forever and ever.
( Revelation 21: 8 ) [8]But the
fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers,
and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake
which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
* The
Church should always pray for the salvation of the lost people
( Romans 10:1 ) Brethren,
my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
* Amen
and amen!!!
6. GOD
STILL CONTINUING HIS GREAT SUPPORT OF HIS SUFFICIENT GRACE TO HIS CHURCH GOD
NEVER CHANGE.
*
God’s grace is sufficient to those who go forward in winning and reaching lost
people.
( II Corinthians 12:9-10 ) [9]And he
said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect
in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that
the power of Christ may rest upon me.
[10]Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in
reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake:
for when I am weak, then am I strong.
* The
Antioch Church experiences the Hands of God as the clear support of God of His
bountiful grace to His Church.
( Acts 11:21-24 ) [21]And the
hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto
the Lord.
[22]Then tidings of these things came unto the
ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that
he should go as far as Antioch.
[23]Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of
God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would
cleave unto the Lord.
[24]For he was a good man, and full of the Holy
Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.
*
Peter preached in a big crowd and by the grace of God 3000 souls got saved.
( Acts 2:36-41 ) [36]Therefore
let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus,
whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
[37]Now when they heard this, they were pricked in
their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and
brethren, what shall we do?
[38]Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39]For the promise is unto you, and to your
children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall
call.
[40]And with many other words did he testify and
exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
[41]Then they that gladly received his word were
baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand
souls.
*
Christ always encourage His disciples to lift up our eyes and look on the
fields for they are white already in to harvest.
( John 4:35 ) Say not ye,
There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you,
Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to
harvest.
*
Jerusalem Church always on the go in soulwinning even the enemy of the gospel
hindered them.
( Acts 5:26-29 ) [26]Then
went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they
feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.
[27]And when they had brought them, they set them
before the council: and the high priest asked them,
[28]Saying, Did not we straitly command you that
ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with
your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
[29]Then Peter and the other apostles answered and
said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
* God
bless you all always *
