FAITHFUL IS HE THAT CALLETH YOU, WHO ALSO WILL DO IT
(1Thes 5:24) Faithful [is] he that calleth
you, who also will do [it].
(Romans 8:31-39) [31]What
shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
[32]He that spared not his own Son, but delivered
him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
[33]Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's
elect? It is God that justifieth.
[34]Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that
died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God,
who also maketh intercession for us.
[35]Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or
peril, or sword?
[36]As it is written, For thy sake we are killed
all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
[37]Nay, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through him that loved us.
[38]For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor
life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come,
[39]Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
1. THE FAITHFUL GOD THAT CALLETH YOU PROMISE TO PROTECT—A
PERFECT PROMISE OF PROTECTION
( Romans 8:31 ) What shall
we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
*
" If God be for us, who can be against us. "
*
Examine the perfect protection God promises to His dear children.
( Psalms 91:1-11 ) [1]He that
dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of
the Almighty.
[2]I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my
fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
[3]Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of
the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
[4]He shall cover thee with his feathers, and
under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
[5]Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by
night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
[6]Nor for the pestilence that walketh in
darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
[7]A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten
thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
[8]Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see
the reward of the wicked.
[9]Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my
refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
[10]There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall
any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
[11]For he shall give his angels charge over thee,
to keep thee in all thy ways.
2. THE
FAITHFUL GOD THAT CALLETH YOU GAVE HIS PRECIOUS SON JESUS CHRIST TO YOU. THINK
WHAT MORE THAT HE CANNOT FREELY GIVE YOU.
(Romans 8:32) He that
spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with
him also freely give us all things?
* God
gave His Son Jesus Christ for. What you think cannot be freely given to you.
* God
is telling you and me, "I have My Precious Son for you, the Lord Jesus Christ." What more do you think God can give freely to you?
* Your
salvation is a free gift to you.
( Ephesians 2:8-9 ) [8]For by
grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of
God:
[9]Not of works, lest any man should boast.
* The
everlasting life is a free gift of God to you and me.
( Romans 6:23 ) For the
wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ
our Lord.
( John 5:24 ) Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent
me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed
from death unto life.
* Your sins are forgiven and forgotten.
( Hebrews 10:17-18 ) [17]And
their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
[18]Now where remission of these is, there is no
more offering for sin.
* God
pronounces that you and I become the Children of God because we accepted the Lord
Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
( John 1:12-13 ) [12]But as
many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to
them that believe on his name:
[13]Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will
of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
3. THE
FAITHFUL GOD THAT CALLETH YOU MADE YOU JUSTIFIED, AND NO ONE CAN ACCUSE YOU. EVEN
THE DEVIL, WHO ALWAYS ACCUSES THE CHRISTIANS, CANNOT ACCUSE YOU. AMEN!!!
( Romans 8:33 ) Who shall
lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
* Who
will charge you or accuse you, and where are you justified?
* We
bought with the price the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
( Acts 20:28 ) Take heed
therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost
hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased
with his own blood.
* The
Bible says that our sins are forgiven.
( Ephesians 1:7 ) In whom we
have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the
riches of his grace;
( Romans 5:8-10 ) [8]But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us.
[9]Much more then, being now justified by his
blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
[10]For if, when we were enemies, we were
reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we
shall be saved by his life.
(1 Peter 1:18-19) [18]Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
[19]But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a
lamb without blemish and without spot:
4. THE
FAITHFUL GOD CALLETH YOU. SAID THAT NO ONE CONDEMNED YOU BUT JESUS CHRIST, WHO
DIED FOR SIN, IS RISEN AND IS IN THE RIGHT-HAND THRONE OF GOD TO DEFEND YOU FROM
THOSE WHO WILL ATTEMPT TO CONDEMN YOU.
(Romans 8:34) Who is he
that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who
is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
* Who
will condemn you when Christ died already for your sin and is now at the
right hand of the throne of God the Father?
* The
Lord Jesus Christ will protect you from evil forces that put in your mind and
heart negative things and things that hinder you from being strong in your Christian
life.
( Ephesians 6:10-18 ) [10]Finally,
my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
[11]Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be
able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
[12]For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness
of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[13]Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of
God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to
stand.
[14]Stand therefore, having your loins girt about
with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
[15]And your feet shod with the preparation of the
gospel of peace;
[16]Above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
[17]And take the helmet of salvation, and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
[18]Praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and
supplication for all saints;
5. THE
FAITHFUL GOD WHO CALLETH YOU PROMISE THAT NO ONE CAN SEPARATE US FROM LOVE.
(Romans 8:35) Who shall
separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:36-39 [36]As it
is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as
sheep for the slaughter.
[37]Nay, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through him that loved us.
[38]For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor
life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come,
[39]Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
* Who
shall separate you from the love of God? No other things can separate us from the
love of God. Amen and Amen.
*
Conclusion:
* THE
FAITHFUL GOD WHO CALLETH YOU AND ME. GAVE US A GOOD NAME. WE ARE NOT ONLY GOOD SOLDIERS OF CHRIST, BUT ALSO CALLED CONQUERORS BECAUSE OF JESUS CHRIST THAT LOVES US.
*
Because of the love of Christ Christians promise to Protect us
( Romans 8:31 ) What shall
we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
* God, who calleth, already gave His Son, Jesus Christ. God said there is no greater
blessing than Jesus that you can ask from God.
3.
The faithful God that calleth you is the one that justified you because of the Lord
Jesus Christ. No one can accuse; not even the Devil can accuse.
4. The
faithful God who calleth you is the right-hand throne of God, and no one can
accuse you and condemn you because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has risen
from the grave and gone to heaven to protect and defend the children of God.
*
These are the reasons God called the More than Conquerors through Christ, who
love us. Amen and amen!!!
(Romans 8:37) Nay, in all
these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
* God
bless you all always*
