[FF] [PREACHING LESSON 18:] WHAT GREAT THINGS TO REMEMBER OF THE CHRISTIANS REMEMBER AT 2025?

WHAT GREAT THINGS TO REMEMBER OF THE CHRISTIANS REMEMBER AT 2025?

(Lamentations 3:21-23) [21]This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.

[22]It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

[23]They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

* INTRODUCTION:

* Jeremiah gave us encouragement to remember the great things we experienced from the goodness in our lives as God's dear children.

* I believed it is a good attitude of every believer of Christ to remember all the good things God has done in our lives, not only in 2025 but also in the year we accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of our lives.

MULTIPLE GREAT THINGS TO REMEMBER IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE GOD HATH DONE IN OUR LIVES IN 2025.

1. I REMEMBER GOD ANSWERING MANY PRAYER REQUESTS OF MINE FOR THE SALVATION OF MANY LOST PEOPLE.

( Romans 10:1 ) Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

* The Philippian jailer.

Acts 16:30-34 [30]And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

[31]And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

[32]And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

[33]And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

[34]And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

2. I REMEMBER GOD GAVE IN OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE IN ORDER TO SERVE HIM IN MANY WAYS.

( Philippians 4:13-16 ) [12]I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

[13]I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

* Paul also blessed the spiritual Christians in the local Church for their maturity and strength in spiritually serving the Lord.

( Ephesians 4:11 -16 ) [11]And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

[12]For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

[13]Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

[14]That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

[15]But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

[16]From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

3. I REMEMBER GOD HAS FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN MY SINS.

(Hebrews 10:17-18) [17]And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

[18]Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

( Romans 5: 8-10 ) [8]But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

[9]Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

[10]For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

( Ephesians 1:7 ) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

4. I REMEMBER GOD GAVE ME CITIZENSHIP THAT IS NOT ONLY EARTHLY BUT ALSO HEAVENLY.

( Hebrews 11:15-16 ) [15]And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

[16]But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

* God encourages us to put our affection on things above.

( Colossians 3:1-2 ) [1]If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

[2]Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

5. I REMEMBER THAT GOD IS ALWAYS READY TO COMFORT AND HELP US TO GIVE US VICTORY IN ALL OUR TROUBLES AND TRIALS IN LIFE.

( II Corinthians 1:4-10 ) [4]Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

[5]For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

6. I REMEMBER THAT CHRIST ALWAYS PROMISED HOPE IN CHRISTIAN LIFE EVEN IN OUR HOPELESS SITUATION.

( Colossians 1:27 ) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

( Titus 2:13 ) Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

*( II Thessalonians 4:13-18 ) [13]But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

[14]For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

[15]For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

[16]For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

[17]Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

[18]Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

* God bless you all always *
