 WHAT SHALL I RENDER UNTO THE LORD FOR ALL HIS BENEFITS TOWARD ME?

 

PSALMS 116:12 “What shall I render unto the Lord [for] all his benefits toward me?”

 

Introduction:

a. Render – to lay down; to bring back; to deliver; to give

b. Napakagandang halimbawa ang pagpapahayag ni Haring David ng kanyang malaking pagnanais na magbalik sa Diyos ng maraming dakilang kabutihan sa kanyang buhay.

c. Kung lahat ng Kristiyano sana ay kagaya ni Haring David, napakaganda ng patotoo ng iglesya lokal sa kanilang komunidad na kinalalagyan sapagkat ang Kristiyano ay magpapakita at magbabalik sa Diyos ng maraming mabubuting bagay dahil sa mga dakilang pagpapala na tinanggap nila sa Diyos.

(PSALMS 116:12)  “What shall I render unto the Lord [for] all his benefits toward me?”

 

* Maraming mabubuting bagay ang maaari nating ibalik sa lahat ng kabutihan ng Diyos sa ating buhay:

 

1. WE CAN RENDER UNTO THANKSGIVING TO HIM FOR ALL HIS GREAT GOODNESS THAT HE HATH DONE IN OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE.

 

( 1 Thessalonians 5:18 ) In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

 

2. WE CAN RENDER UNTO GOD TO PRESENT OUR BODIES A LIVING SACRIFICE HOLY AND ACCEPTABLE TO GOD.

 

(Romans 12:1-2) [1]I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

[2]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

 

3. WE CAN RENDER UNTO GOD OUR HUMBLENESS TO COME TO HIM IN OUR DEEP PRAYER BEFORE HIM.

 

(2 Chronicles 7:14 ) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

 

4. WE CAN RENDER UNTO GOD OUR TOTAL COMMITMENT TO SUPPORT THE MISSION WORK 

 

( Philippians 4:15-16 ) [15]Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

[16]For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

 

5. WE CAN RENDER UNTO GOD OUR FAITHFULNESS TO FULLFILL THE GREAT COMMISSION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

 

( John 9:4-5 ) [4]I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

[5]As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

 

6. WE CAN RENDER UNTO GOD OUR FAITHFULNESS TO SERVE HIM TILL JESUS CHRIST COMES BACK.

 

(Philippians 1:6) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

 

* ( Matthew 24:45-47 ) [45]Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

[46]Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

[47]Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
