WHAT PRAYER CAN DO IN THE LIFE OF GOD'S PEOPLE?
(Philippians 4:6-8) [6]Be
careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
[7]And the peace of God, which passeth all
understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
[8]Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are
pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if
there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
1.
WHEN CHRISTIANS ARE IN GREAT NEEDS LET US PRAY BECAUSE GOD ANSWERS AND SUPPPLY
THEIR NEEDS.
(Matthew 6:7-11) [7]But when
ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they
shall be heard for their much speaking.
[8]Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your
Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
[9]After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father
which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
[10]Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.
[11]Give us this day our daily bread.
( Matthew 6:7 ) Ask, and it
shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto
you:
* God
supply the needs of God’s people through prayers.
( Philippians 4:19 ) But my God
shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

WHEN CHRISTIANS ARE SICK LET'S COME TO GOD IN PRAYER BECAUSE ANSWERS PRAYER IF
YOU'RE SICK AND HE WILL HEAL YOU.
(James 5:14-16) [14]Is any
sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray
over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
[15]And the prayer of faith shall save the sick,
and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be
forgiven him.
[16]Confess your faults one to another, and pray
one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much.

WHEN CHRISTIANS ARE WITH SINS IN THEIR HEART CONFESS TO GOD AND HE WILL
FORGIVE.
( I John 1:9-10 ) [9]If we
confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
[10]If we say that we have not sinned, we make him
a liar, and his word is not in us.

WHEN CHRISTIANS ARE WITH AN UNFORGIVING LET'S PRAY TO GOD TO CHANGE OUR HEART
TO CHANGE WITH A SOFTHEARTED HEART.
( Matthew 6:14-15 ) [14]For if
ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
[15]But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
* God
will bless you of soft and forgiving heart.
(Hebrews 10:22) [22]Let us
draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts
sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
6.
WHEN CHRISTIANS ARE FACING TRIAL AND TROUBLES IN LIFE COME TO GOD IN PRAYERS.
( 1 Peter 1:7 ) That the
trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth,
though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory
at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
* God
will bless you of a rejoicing heart even we are facing deep trial and
tribulation in life.
( I Peter 4:13-16 ) [13]But
rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his
glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
[14]If ye be reproached for the name of Christ,
happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their
part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
[15]But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or
as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
[16]Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him
not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
7.
WHEN CHRISTIANS ARE DESIRING TO HAVE MORE FRUITS IN CHRISTIAN LIFE WE NEED TO
PRAY TO GOD TO GIVE US BOUNTIFUL SPIRITUAL FRUITS.
( John 15: 16 ) Ye have not
chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring
forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of
the Father in my name, he may give it you.
* God
is glorified when the life of the Christian are very fruitful.
( John 15:8-11 ) [8]Herein
is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
[9]As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved
you: continue ye in my love.
[10]If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in
my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
[11]These things have I spoken unto you, that my
joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
8.
WHEN CHRISTIANS DESIRE FOR THEIR LOVEONES TO BE SAVED LET THEM PRAY TO GOD.
( Romans 10:1 ) Brethren,
my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
