ACTS 2:46-47 “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple,
and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and
singleness of heart,

2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to
the church daily such as should be saved.

1. THE CHURCH WERE UNITED IN PRAYER
IN THE UPPER ROOM
ACTS 1:13-15 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room,
where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas,
Bartholomew, and Matthew, James [the son] of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and
Judas [the brother] of James.
Acts 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with
the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
Acts 1:15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and
said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
a. Ang iglesya lokal ng Jerusalem ay
isang magandang halimbawa sa matapat na pananalangin sa loob ng bahay sambahan
ng Panginoon.
b.Magandang huwaran sila sapagkat ang
bawat miyembro ay totoong matapat sa oras ng pananalangin sa bahay sambahan ng
Panginoon. May 120 kapatiran ang matapat na nanalangin sa Panginoon.
ACTS 1:15 “And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the

2. THE CHURCH MEMBERS WERE UNDER THE
POWER AND GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
ACTS 1:8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is
come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all
Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
a. Ang Banal na Espiritu ang
pinagmumulan ng kapangyarihan upang ang Kristiyano ay maging epektibo sa
pag-aakay ng mga makasalanan.
b. Ang Banal na Espiritu ang
pinanggagalingan ng buong kaalaman at katotohanan mula sa Salita ng Diyos.
JOHN 16:13 “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will
guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he
shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
c. Ang Banal na Espiritu ang
nagbibigay sa Kristiyano ng lahat ng bungang espiritwal.
GALATIANS 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

d. Ang lahat ng miyembro ng iglesya
ng Jerusalem ay puspos ng Banal na Espiritu kaya naging epektibo sila sa
kanilang komunidad.
ACTS 2:4-8 Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and
began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every
nation under heaven.
Acts 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were
confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
Acts 2:7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold,
are not all these which speak Galilæans?
Acts 2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
3. THE CHURCH WERE UNDIVIDED IN THEIR
SERVICE AND WORSHIP TO GOD
ACTS 2:42-47 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and
fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done
by the apostles.
Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Acts 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as
every man had need.

b. Ang bawat miyembro ay totoong
naging matatag espiritwal at naging matulungin sa pagsuporta sa pangangailangan
ng gawain ng Panginoon.
ACTS 2:43-45 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs
were done by the apostles.
Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Acts 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as
every man had need.
c. Ang bawat miyembro ay totoong
naging matapat sa Diyos sa palagiang pagsamba sa Kanyang tahanan.
ACTS 2:46 “And they, continuing daily with one eaccord in the temple,
and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and
singleness of heart,”
4. THE CHURCH WERE UNSTOPPABLE IN
THEIR CONCERN FOR THE SALVATION.
( Acts 5:17-29 ) 27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the
council: and the high priest asked them,

Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name?
and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring
this man's blood upon us.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God
rather than men.
a. Ang kasipagan at katapangan ng
iglesya sa pag-aakay ng kaluluwa ang dahilan kung bakit maraming naliligtas
araw-araw.
b. Ang paglago ng iglesya lokal sa
Jerusalem ay bunga ng tuloy-tuloy na pag-aakay ng kaluluwa ng maraming
makasalanan sa kanilang komunidad.
ACTS 5:42 “And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased
not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”
c. Ang paglago ay halos hindi kayang
bilangin sa sobrang dami ng naliligtas araw-araw.
ACTS 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the
disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests
were obedient to the faith.
5. THE CHURCH WERE UNLIMITED IN THEIR
GIVING TO GOD TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE.
( Philippians 4:15-16 ) Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the
gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as
concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
a. Jerusalem is our example in unlimited
giving for the work of the Lord’s sake.

PSALMS 133:1 “Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to
dwell together in unity!”
