[F] [PREACHING LESSON 4:] WHY THE CHURCH SHOULD LIVE A BIG DIFFERENCE WITH THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD?

(BAKIT KINAKAILANGANG MAMUHAY NANG MAY MALAKING PAGKAKAIBABA SA MGA TAGASANLIBUTAN?)

JOHN 17:14 “I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”

Panimula:

a.     Nagpapatotoo ang Panginoong Hesus na ang Kristiyano ay dapat mamuhi sa mga tagasanlibutan sapagkat tayo ay hindi taga-dito.

b.    Nagbanggit ang Panginoong Hesus ng pamumuhay na dapat ipamuhay habang tayo ay nasa lupa.

JOHN 17:4-5 “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
Jn 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”

Mga kadahilanan kung bakit ang Kristiyano ay dapat mamuhay nang may malaking pagkakaiba sa sanlibutan:

                                                                                                                                             

1. TO PROVE THAT WE ARE NOT OF THE WORLD

(Upang patunayan na tayo ay hindi mga tagasanlibutan)

JOHN 17:14 “I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.”

     

a.     Ang Diyos ay nagpapatotoo na ang mga Kristiyano ay mga taga-langit na dahil kay Kristo.

HEBREWS 11:16 “But now they desire a better [country], that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”

b.    Masaya ang Diyos na ipaghahanda tayo ng mas magandang lugar sa langit. Hindi Niya tayo ikinahihiya na tawagin nating Siyang Diyos.

c.      Posible sa Kristiyano na makapamuhay nang may malaking pagkakaiba sa mga tagasanlibutan.

MATTTHEW 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

2. TO PRAISE AND TO GLORIFY GOD WHILE IN THE WORLD

(Upang purihin at luwalhatiin ang Diyos habang nasa lupa)

JOHN 17:1 “These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:”

a.     Ang pangunahing Hesus ang ating pangunahing huwaran sa pagpuri, pagluwalhati at pagsamba sa Diyos.

b.    isira nito ang dapat na inaasahan ng isang Kristiyano.

JOHN 4:23-24 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Jn 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.”

Þ   Tinawag ni Hesus ang mga Kristiyano na mga tunay na mananamba dahil sinasamba natin Siya sa espiritu at katotohanan.

3. TO PROMOTE THE SPIRITUAL LIVING OF THE CHRISTIAN IN THE WORLD

(Upang itaguyod ang espiritwal na pamumuhay ng Kristiyano sa sanlibutan)

JOHN 17:19 “And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.”

a.     Ang Panginoong Hesus ang ating unang huwaran sa pagtataguyod ng espiritwal na pamumuhay ng Kristiyano sa sanlibutan.

b.    Umaasa ang Diyos na ang Kristiyano ay mamumuhay nang may kabanalan sa sanlibutan sa lahat ng uri ng pamumuhay.

1PETER 1:15 “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;”

c.      Gagamitin ng Diyos ang Kristiyanong namumuhay nang may kabanalan bilang sisidlang ikararangal.

2TIMOTHY 2:21 “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, [and] prepared unto every good work.”

4. TO PROTECT US FROM EVIL WORKS IN THE WORLD

(Upang protektahan tayo mula sa masamang gawain ng sanlibutan)

JOHN 17:15 “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”

a.     Panalangin ni Hesus na ingatan tayo sa masama.

b.    Ang ating kaaway na diyablo ay parang leon na naghahanap ng mabibiktima.

1PETER 5:8-9 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1Pet 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

c.      Inuutusan tayo ng Diyos na magpakalakas lagi upang mapaghandaan ang atake ng kaaway na diyablo.

EPHESIANS 6:10-12 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].”

5. TO PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST TO THE LOST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD

(Upang ipahayag ang ebanghelyo ni Kristo sa mga makasalanan sa sanlibutan)

ROMANS 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

a.     Mahalagang utos ni Kristo sa iglesya ang paghayo sa buong sanlibutan.

MATTHEW 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.”

b.    Nais ng Diyos na ang lahat ng tao ay maligtas.

1TIMOTHY 2:4 “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

c.      Ayaw ng Diyos na sinoman ay mapahamak sa impiyerno.

2PETER 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Pangwakas:

Ito ang mga dahilan kung bakit ang Kristiyano ay dapat mamuhay ng may malaking pagkakaiba sa mga taga-sanlibutan.

1THESSALONIANS 5:5 “Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.”
