THE UNCHANGING GOD THAT WE HAVE AS THE PEOPLE OF GOD
Hebrews 13:8 Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same
yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
* INTRODUCTION:
1. God never change His perfect plan to all His creatures. That all
sinners might be saved.
( II Timothy 2:4
) Who
will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
* God do not want that any should perish in hell forever and ever.
( II Peter 3:9 )
The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance.
* God commanded the Church rescue and full them of the fire those that
are hopeless and helpless lost people.
( Jude 1: 23 ) And others save with fear,
pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
2. God never Change His program for all saved people.
( II Timothy 1:9
) Who
hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works,
but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus
before the world began,
* All saved people are God's co-workers or labourers with God.
( 1 Corinthians
3:6-9 ) [6]I
have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
[7]So then neither is he that
planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
[8]Now he that planteth and he
that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to
his own labour.
[9]For we are labourers
together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
* Every individual Christians are chosen by God to be fruitful in their
Christians life
( John 15:16 ) Ye have not chosen me, but I
have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and
that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my
name, he may give it you.
3. God never Change His Mission to the whole World to reach World by the
gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He gave to the Church the great commission of
the Lord Jesus Christ.
( Mathew 28:
19-20 ) [19]Go
ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
[20]Teaching them to observe
all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen.
* Soulwinning of the local Church reached every lost people in the
Community. But Mission Planting of the local Church reached all lost people in
the World. This is why send out Missions in every part of the Country here in
the Philippines. This also the reason why we send more Missionaries or support
Missionaries in foreign Country. God never change His goal the World by the
gospel of Jesus Christ.
SOME GREAT AND GOOD SUPPORT OF GOD TO A GOD-FEARING CHURCH
1. GOD NEVER CHANGES TO SUPPORT THE CHURCH OF PERFECT
PARTNERS IN THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD TO GUIDE THEM AND GIVE WISDOM AND POWER IN
HIS MINISTRY, THE HOLY SPIRIT
*( Juan 16:13 ) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew
you things to come.
* ( Acts 1:8 ) But ye shall receive power,
after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me
both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost
part of the earth.
2. GOD NEVER CHANGES TO SUPPORT THE CHURCH, GOD OF GOOD
PEOPLE INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH, TO HELP THE PASTOR IN THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD.
* ( Ephesians
4:11-16 ) [11]And
he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some,
pastors and teachers;
[12]For the perfecting of the
saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13]Till we all come in the
unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
[14]That we henceforth be no
more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of
doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in
wait to deceive;
[15]But speaking the truth in
love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
[16]From whom the whole body
fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth,
according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh
increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
* Paul expirienced to work with faithful and strong Christians inside
the local Church.
( 2 Timothy
2:1-7 ) [1]Thou
therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
[2]And the things that thou
hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men,
who shall be able to teach others also.
[3]Thou therefore endure
hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
[4]No man that warreth
entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who
hath chosen him to be a soldier.
[5]And if a man also strive
for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
[6]The husbandman that
laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
[7]Consider what I say; and
the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
3. GOD NEVER CHANGES TO SUPPORT THE CHURCH OF BIG VISION
IN THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD TO FULFILL THE GREAT COMMISSION OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST.
( Acts 16:9-10 )
[9]And
a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and
prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
[10]And after he had seen the
vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering
that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.
* The Lord Jesus Christ is our model, having a burden for lost people
that need to be saved.
( John 4:35 ) Say not ye, There are yet four
months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and
look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
( Mathew 9:35-36
) [35]And
Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and
preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every
disease among the people.
[36]But when he saw the
multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and
were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
[37]Then saith he unto his
disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
[38]Pray ye therefore the Lord
of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
( John 9:4-5 ) [4]I must work the works of
him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
[5]As long as I am in the
world, I am the light of the world.
4. GOD NEVER CHANGES TO SUPPORT THE CHURCH OF GOD OF
SUFFICIENT GRACE IN TIMES THEY FACE GREAT TRIALS AND TROUBLES IN THEIR LIFE AND
IN THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD.
( II Corinthians
12:9-10 ) [9]And
he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made
perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my
infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
[10]Therefore I take pleasure
in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses
for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
* God always answers the prayers of God’s servant as God promised every
time we come to the throne of grace of God.
( Hebrews 4:16 )
[16]Let
us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy,
and find grace to help in time of need.
* God is always with the servants of God to comfort them at all times.
* II Corinthians
1:4-10 ) [4]Who
comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which
are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
[5]For as the sufferings of
Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
[6]And whether we be
afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the
enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be
comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
[7]And our hope of you is
stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be
also of the consolation.
[8]For we would not, brethren,
have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed
out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
[9]But we had the sentence of
death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which
raiseth the dead:
[10]Who delivered us from so
great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
* God is always ready to give the servants of perfect strength to face
all the challenges they face in the Ministry of the Lord.
( I Peter 5:10 )
[10]But
the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ
Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish,
strengthen, settle you.
* God prepare the servants of perfect peace in times we face trials and
troubles in the Ministry of the Lord.
*( Philippians
4:7-9 ) [7]And
the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus.
[8]Finally, brethren,
whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are
just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things.
5. GOD NEVER CHANGES TO SUPPORT THE CHURCH BY REWARDING
EVERY INDIVIDUAL CHRISTIAN FOR THEIR FAITHFULNESS IN THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD.
( II Timothy
4:7-8 ) [7]I
have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
[8]Henceforth there is laid up
for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall
give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his
appearing
( 2 Timothy 4:8
) Henceforth
there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous
judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also
that love his appearing.
* ( Proverbs
28:20 ) A
faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich
shall not be innocent.
(Philippians 4:9) [9]Those things, which ye have
both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace
shall be with you.
