THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL NOT CONTRADICT FROM THE WORD OF GOD. IF THE VOICE THAT YOU HEAR IS CONTRADICT FROM THE WORD OF GOD THAT IS NOT THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
( Matthew 4:1-10 ) [1]Then was
Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
[2]And when he had fasted forty days and forty
nights, he was afterward an hungred.
[3]And when the tempter came to him, he said, If
thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
[4]But he answered and said, It is written, Man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the
mouth of God.
[5]Then the devil taketh him up into the holy
city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
[6]And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God,
cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge
concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time
thou dash thy foot against a stone.
[7]Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou
shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
[8]Again, the devil taketh him up into an
exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the
glory of them;
[9]And saith unto him, All these things will I
give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
[10]Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence,
Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only
shalt thou serve.

TRUTHS TO KNOW FROM THIS BIBLE LESSON.
1. IF
THE VOICE THAT YOU HEAR DOESN'T LEAD YOU TO GO TO CHURCH THIS SUNDAY AND SAYS, "ENJOY YOUR DAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS," DON'T LISTEN. THAT IS NOT THE VOICE OF THE HOLY
SPIRIT.
( Hebrews 10:25 ) Not
forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but
exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
* King
David knows very well the voice of the Holy Spirit to him.
(Psalms 122:1-2) [1]I was
glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
[2]Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O
Jerusalem.

Jerusalem Church also knows the voice of the Holy Spirit.
( Acts 2:46-47 ) [46]And
they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from
house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
[47]Praising God, and having favour with all the
people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
2. IF
THE VOICE THAT YOU HEAR IS TELLING YOU THAT IT'S OK NOT TO READ AND MEDITATE ON YOUR
BIBLE EVERY DAY, READ YOUR BIBLE IF YOU'RE IN THE MOOD, BUT IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE MOOD,
IT'S OK; GOD WILL UNDERSTAND YOU. THAT IS NOT THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
( Joshua 1:8 ) This book
of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein
day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have
good success.
* The
Holy Spirit tells us that we should meditate on the Word of God, day and night, and
observe it in our daily lives, and God will bless us with success and prosperity
in our lives.
3. IF
THE VOICE THAT YOU HEAR TELLS YOU THAT YOU SHOULD NOT RESPECT YOUR PARENTS BUT TREAT THEM
LIKE AN ORDINARY PERSON, THAT IS NOT THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
( Ephesians 6:1-2 ) [1]Children,
obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
[2]Honour thy father and mother; (which is the
first commandment with promise;)

Parents are precious gifts of God to their children because they will take care of their children as if God takes care of all His creatures.
4. IF
THE VOICE TELLS YOU THAT IT IS NOT BAD TO BE EQUALLY YOKED WITH THE UNBELIEVERS, IT
IS OK BECAUSE THEY ARE YOUR FRIENDS DONT LISTEN THAT IS NOT THE VOICE OF THE HOLY
SPIRIT.
( II Corinthians 6:14-18 ) [14]Be ye
not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath
righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with
darkness?
[15]And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or
what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
[16]And what agreement hath the temple of God with
idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell
in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my
people.
[17]Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye
separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive
you,
[18]And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be
my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
5. IF
THE VOICE THAT YOU HEAR SAYS THAT WE SHOULD NOT LOVE THE LOST PEOPLE, WE ARE NOT
RESPONSIBLE TO GOD FOR THE SALVATION OF THEIR SOULS. DON'T LISTEN; THAT IS NOT THE
VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
( Matthew 28:18-20 ) [18]And
Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven
and in earth.
[19]Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost:
[20]Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever
I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the
world. Amen.
6. IF
THE VOICE THAT YOU HEAR SAYS THAT YOU SHOULD NOT LIVE YOUR LIFE TO BE FAITHFUL
TO GOD, THAT IS NOT THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. DON'T LISTEN TO THAT VOICE.
( Proverbs 28:20 ) A faithful
man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not
be innocent.
* God
promises to bless the faithful Christian with bountiful blessings.
( II Timothy 4:7-8 ) [7]I have
fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
[8]Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day:
and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
* God
