[EE] [PREACHING LESSON 13:] ENCOURAGEMENT TO CHRISTIANS TO HAVE STRONG FAITH IN OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE.

ENCOURAGEMENT TO CHRISTIANS TO HAVE STRONG FAITH IN OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE.

( Ephesians 6:10-14 ) [10]Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

[11]Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

[12]For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

[13]Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

[14]Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

MULTIPLE REASONS WHY WE NEED TO BE STRONG IN CHRISTIAN LIFE.

1. THAT WE CAN ALWAYS SEEK GOD FIRST IN OUR LIVES.

( Matthew 6:33 ) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

2. THAT WE CAN SEARCH GOD'S WILL IN OUR LIVES.

( II Timothy 1:9 ) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

* God’s will of God is always based on the Word of God.

( II Timothy 3:16-17 ) [16]All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

[17]That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

3. THAT WE CAN SERVE GOD TOGETHER WITH OUR FAMILY.

( Joshua 24:15 ) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

* God bless the Church that serves as one body of Christ.

( I Corinthians 12:12-18 ) [12]For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

[13]For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

[14]For the body is not one member, but many.

[15]If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[16]And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[17]If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

[18]But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

4. THAT WE CAN LIVE A SANCTIFIED LIFE BEFORE MAN AND GOD.

( I Corinthians 1:1-2 ) [1]Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

[2]Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

5. THAT WE CAN SACRIFICE IN FACING OUR TRIALS AND TROUBLES IN CHRISTIAN LIFE WITH JOY.

( I Peter 4:13-16 ) [13]But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

[14]If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

[15]But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

[16]Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

* God bless you all always. *
