WHY IS THE CHURCH THE APPLE OF THE EYE OF GOD?
(DEUTERONOMY 32:9-10) “For
the Lord’s portion [is] his people; Jacob [is] the lot of his inheritance. 10
He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him
about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.”

his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
2. BECAUSE THEY WERE CALLED THE
CHILDREN OF GOD
(JOHN 1:12-13) “But as
many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even]
to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the
will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
a. Only those who accepted Jesus Christ in their heart became the children
of God.

fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the
Father in my name, he may give it you.”
b. God promise that our labour is not in-vain in the Lord.
(1 CORINTHIANS 15:58)

ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as
ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
4. BECAUSE THEY WERE CALLED THE PECULIAR
PEOPLE OF GOD
(1 PETER 2:9-10) “But
ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar
people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of
darkness into his marvellous light: 10 Which in time past [were] not a people,
but [are] now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have
obtained mercy.”

work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no
man can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

OF GOD AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AT HIS COMING WILL BRING ALL THE CHRISTIAN IN
HEAVEN.
(HEBREWS 11:15-16) “And
truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they
might have had opportunity to have returned. 16 But now they desire a better

that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say
unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.”
6. BECAUSE THEY WERE THE BRIDE OF
CHRIST.
(Ephesians 5:25-27) [25]Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also
loved the church, and gave himself for it;
[26]That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the
word,
[27]That he might present it
to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing;
but that it should be holy and without blemish.
