[E] [PREACHING LESSON 18:] WHAT KIND OF REVIVAL THAT WE NEED FOR THE CHURCH AT THE LAST DAYS?

(ANONG URI NG KALAKASAN ANG KAILANGAN NG IGLESYA SA MGA HULING ARAW?)

EPHESIANS 5:14-18 “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Eph 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Eph 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].
Eph 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

Panimula:

a.     Ang talatang ito ay katunayan na ang iglesya ng Panginoon ay nasa huling panahon na. Ibig sabihin malapit na ang pagbabalik ng Panginoong Hesus.

b.    Laging maging handa sa pananalangin ang ating iglesya sa ganitong panahon at lagi ring mainit espiritwal upang masumpungan tayong matapat at naglilingkod hanggang sa Kanyang pagbabalik.

MATTHEW 24:45-46 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Mt 24:46 Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.”

Iba’t-ibang uri ng kalakasan na kailangan ng iglesya lokal sa huling panahon:

                                                                                                                                             

1. WE NEED A REVIVAL THAT MAKES THE CHURCH TO BE AWAY FROM THE SINFUL WORLD

(Kailangan natin ng kalakasan na maglalayo sa iglesya mula sa makasalanang sanlibutan)

EPHESIANS 5:16 “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

     

a.     Anu-anong uri ng tao ang makikita natin sa huling panahon?

2TIMOTHY 3:1-5 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Tim 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Tim 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Tim 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Tim 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

     

b.    Ano ang mahigpit na utos ng Diyos sa Kristiyano tungkol sa masasamang tao sa sanlibutan?

2CORINTHIANS 6:14, 17 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2Cor 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you,”

2. WE NEED A REVIVAL THAT MAKES THE CHURCH TO BE AWAKE FROM SPIRITUAL SLEEP

(Kailangan natin ng kalakasan na magpapagising sa iglesya mula sa pagkakatulog espiritwal)

EPHESIANS 5:14 “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”

a.     Ipinag-uutos mismo ni Pablo sa mga taga-Efeso na magsigising sila sa pagkakatulog sa kanilang buhay Kristiyano.

b.    Ang hindi pagiging aktibo sa pagtulong sa gawain ay palatandaan ng pagiging tulog espiritwal ng Kristiyano. Ito ang mga Kristiyanong tutulog-tulog.

Ø Magandang hamon ni Pablo ang talatang ito sa tutulog-tulog na Kristiyano.

ROMANS 12:11 “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;”

3. WE NEED A REVIVAL THAT MAKES THE CHURCH TO BE AWARE FROM THE SPIRITUAL SERVICE TO GOD

(Kailangan natin ng kalakasan na magpapagising sa iglesya mula sa pagkakatulog espiritwal)

1CORINTHIANS 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

a.     Hinahamon ni Pablo ang mga taga-Corinto na sila ay magsisagana sa paglilingkod sa Panginoon.

b.    Magandang hamon ang buhay ni Pablo sa masaganang paglilingkod dahil sa maraming kaluluwa na naaakay sa Panginoon.

1CORINTHIANS 9:19 “For though I be free from all [men], yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.”

Ø Ang iglesya lokal ng Jerusalem ay magandang huwaran dahil sa kanilang maraming bunga sa pag-aakay ng kaluluwa.

ACTS 2:41 “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.”

4. WE NEED A REVIVAL THAT MAKES THE CHURCH TO AWAIT THE SOON COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

(Kailangan natin ng kalakasan na naghihintay sa nalalapit na pagdating ng Panginoong Hesu-Kristo)

1THESSALONIANS 1:10 “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.”

a.     Ang pangakong pagbabalik ng Panginoong Hesus ay mapalad na pag-asa ng mga Kristiyano.

TITUS 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”

b.    Napakalapit na at maaaring biglaan ang Kanyang pagdating na hindi natin inaasahan.

1THESSALONIANS 5:2 “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”

Pangwakas:

Tayo ay nasa panahon na malapit ng bumalik ang Panginoon Hesus. Kailangan ng iglesya lokal na maging mainit at masigla sa paglilingkod. Habang naghihintay sa muling pagbabalik Niya, kailangan ang iglesya ay lumayo sa makasalanang mundo, gumising sa pagkakatulog espiritwal, maglingkod sa Kanya at maghintay sa Kanya.
