EXODUS 13:21 “And the Lord went before them by day in
a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to
give them light; to go by day and night:”
Panimula:
a.
Ang ulap at haliging apoy na umiibaw sa
mga Israelita at mga anak ng Diyos ay katunayan na kasama natin Siya. Isang
maliwanag na katotohanan na si Kristo ay kasama din natin.
HEBREWS 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday,
and to day, and for ever.”
b.
Kasama nila Moises si Kristo. Kahit ngayon
kasama pa rin natin Siya noong ikaw ay nanampalataya sa Kanya.
Mga dakilang pakinabang ng pagtahan ng
ulap at haliging apoy sa anak ng Diyos:
1. THE CLOUD
AND FIRE SHOW THE PRESENCE OF JESUS CHRIST
(Ipinapakita ng ulap at
ng haliging apoy ang presensya ni Hesu-Kristo)
a.
Laging sabik si Haring David na
maranasan ang presensya ng Diyos sa Kanyang tahanan.
PSALMS 27:4 “One
[thing] have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in
the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the
Lord, and to enquire in his temple.”
b.
Pangako ni Hesus sa iglesya lokal na
kung may nagkakatipon na dalawa o tatlo sa Kanyang pangalan ay nandoon ang
Kanyang presensya sa gitna nila.
MATTHEW 18:20 “For
where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of
them.”

Kasama nila Moises at ng bayan ng
Israel ang Panginoon kahit gabi sa pamamagitan ng haliging apoy na nagbibigay
liwanag sa kanilang daanan.
EXODUS 14:19-21 “And the angel of God, which went before
the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud
went from before their face, and stood behind them:
Ex 14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness [to them], but it gave light by night [to these]: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
Ex 14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were divided.”

2. THE CLOUD
AND FIRE SHOW THE PROTECTION OF JESUS CHRIST

PSALMS 105:39 “He spread a cloud for a covering; and
fire to give light in the night.”

Ang Panginoon ang tagapag-ingat ng
Kanyang bayan.
PSALMS 121:1-5 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills,
from whence cometh my help. a
Pss 121:2 My help [cometh] from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Pss 121:3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Pss 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Pss 121:5 The Lord [is] thy keeper: the Lord [is] thy shade upon thy right hand.”
Pss 121:2 My help [cometh] from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

JOHN 10:9 “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall
go in and out, and find pasture.”

Noong panahon nila Moises at ng bayan
ng Israel, si Hesus ang nagtanggol sa kanila sa kamay ng mabagsik na si Faraon
at ng bayan nito nang sila ay mapahamak sa nahating dagat na pula.
3. THE CLOUD
AND FIRE SHOW THE PERMANENCE OF JESUS
(Ipinapakita ng ulap at ng haliging apoy ang pananatili
ni Hesu-Kristo)
EXODUS 13:22 “He took not away the pillar of the cloud
by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, [from] before the people.”
EXODUS 40:38 “For the cloud of the Lord [was] upon the
tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house
of Israel, throughout all their journeys.”
a. Hindi sila iniwan ng Panginoon saanman sila pumaroon. Sa lahat ng
kanilang paglalakbay kasama nila ang ulap at haliging apoy bilang katunayan na
kasama nila ang Diyos na makapangyarihan sa lahat.
ISAIAH 40:26-31 “Lift up your eyes on high, and behold
who hath created these [things], that bringeth out their host by number: he
calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that [he is] strong
in power; not one faileth.
Isa 40:27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
Isa 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, [that] the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? [there is] no searching of his understanding.
Isa 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength.
Isa 40:30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.”

4. THE CLOUD
AND FIRE SHOW THE PEACE OF JESUS CHRIST

NUMBERS 9:18 “At the commandment of the Lord the
children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the Lord they pitched:
as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.”
a. Ang bawat totoong naligtas ay pinangakuan ng kapayapaan kay Hesu-Kristo.
ROMANS 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ:”
b. Nagsalita rin ang Panginoong Hesus sa mga disipulo patungkol dito.
JOHN 20:19 “Then
the same day at evening, being the first [day] of the week, when the doors were
shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and
stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace [be] unto you.”
Pangwakas:
Ang ulap at haliging apoy ay katunayan ng
presensya, proteksyon, pananatili at kapayapaan sa Diyos.
