WHY THE CHURCH IS THE APPLE OF THE
EYE OF GOD?
DEUTERONOMY 32:9-10 “For the Lord’s portion [is] his
people; Jacob [is] the lot of his inheritance.
Deut 32:10 He found him in a
desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he
instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.”
Panimula:
a. Ang mga taong ito na nabanggit na kinaluluguran ng mata ng Diyos ay
ang bayan ng Israel. Ito ay naglalarawan din sa mga Kristiyano sa iglesya
lokal.
b. May mga dahilan kung bakit nalulugod ang Diyos sa mga Kristiyano sa
iglesya lokal ayon sa Banal na Kasulatan.
1PETER 2:9-10 “But ye [are] a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew
forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his
marvellous light:
1Pet 2:10 Which in time past [were] not a
people, but [are] now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now
have obtained mercy.”
Mga kadahilanan kung bakit kinalulugdan ng Diyos ang mga Kristiyano sa
iglesya lokal:
1. BECAUSE WE ARE BOUGHT BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THE
LORD JESUS CHRIST
ACTS 20:28 “Take heed therefore unto
yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you
overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own
blood.”
a. Kaya masasabi nating kinalulugdan tayo ng mata ng Diyos dahil sa
Kanyang banal na dugo.
Þ Kaya umaawit tayo ng “Ako’y
ligtas sa dugo ni Hesus”.
b. Kaya masasabi natin na ang Kristiyano ay totoong mga taong ligtas at
may pangako na buhay na walang hanggan.
JOHN 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life.”
c. Kaya masasabi natin na ang iglesya lokal ay ligtas dahil sa banal na
dugo ni Hesus.
ROMANS 5:8-9 “But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now
justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
2. BECAUSE WE ARE CALLED THE CHILDREN OF GOD
JOHN 1:12-13 “But as many as received him, to
them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on
his name:
Jn 1:13 Which were born, not of
blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
a. Ang Kristiyano ay kabilang na sa pamilya ng Diyos sa langit. Hindi
nahihiya ang Diyos na tawagin Siyang Ama ng Kanyang mga anak sa langit.
HEBREWS 11:16 “But now they desire a better
[country], that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called
their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
b. May kalayaan ang mga Kristiyano na lumapit sa Diyos sa pananalangin.
Ito ay isang pribeliheyo na sagutin ng Diyos ang ating panalangin.
ROMANS 8:14 “For as many as are led by the
Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
c. Sapagkat tayo ay tinawag na mga anak ng kaliwanagan at hindi na ng
kadiliman.
1THESSALONIANS 5:5 “Ye are all the children of light,
and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.”
3. BECAUSE WE ARE CALLED THE LIGTH OF THE WORLD.
( Mathew 5:16 ) [16]Let your light so shine before
men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in
heaven.
(John 1:4-5,7-9) [4]In him was life; and the life
was the light of men.
[5]And the light shineth in
darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
[7]The same came for a witness, to
bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
[8]He was not that Light, but was
sent to bear witness of that Light.
[9]That was the true Light, which
lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
4. BECAUSE THEY WERE CALLED THE CO-LABORER OF GOD
1CORINTHIANS 3:9 “For we are labourers together
with God: ye are God’s husbandry, [ye are] God’s building.”
a. Bilang kamanggagawa, sinugo tayo ni Hesus sa buong mundo upang
ipalaganap ang ebanghelyo ni Kristo.
MATTHEW 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost:”
b. Pangako ng Diyos na hindi mawawalan ng kabuluhan ang lahat ng
ipinaglilingkod ng mga kamanggagawa Niya.
1CORINTHIANS 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren,
be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch
as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
5. BECAUSE THEY WERE CALLED THE CHOSEN PEOPLE OF GOD

a. Tayo ay tinawag na lahing hinirang ng Diyos dahil sa pagtanggap natin
kay Kristo bilang Panginoon at Tagapagligtas.
