THE AMAZING WORK OF THE GRACE OF GOD IN
THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN

(1CORINTHIANS 15:10)
“But by
the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which [was bestowed] upon me was
not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the
grace of God which was with me.”
( II Corinthians
12:9-10 ) [9]And he
said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect
in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that
the power of Christ may rest upon me.
[10]Therefore I take pleasure in
infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for
Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Introduction:
a. The greatest work of the grace of God in the life of the Christian is
the salvation of our soul.
b. Paul’s testimony that only by the grace of God we are
The amazing work of the grace of God is always possible to the Pastor
and wife family doing the Ministry of the Lord till Jesus comes.

of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about
thy table.
[4]Behold, that thus shall the man
be blessed that feareth the LORD.
[5]The LORD shall bless thee out
of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
[6]Yea, thou shalt see thy
children's children, and peace upon Israel.
5 GREAT GRACE EXPERIENCE OF PASTOR AND WIFE'S FAMILY IN
THE MINISTRY OF THE LORD
I. THE GRACE OF GOD MADE THE PASTOR AND WIFE FAMILY TO BE
VICTORIOUS IN CHRISTIAN LIFE.
(1CORINTHIANS 15:10)
“But by
the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which [was bestowed] upon me was
not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the
grace of God which was with me.”
a. Paul’s testimony that the grace of God abound and made him victorious
in Christian life.
(1JOHN 4:4) “Ye are of God, little children,
and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is
in the world.”
II. THE GRACE OF GOD IS SUFFICIENT FOR THE PASTOR'S
FAMILY IN TIME OF DEEP TRIALS AND TROUBLES
(2CORINTHIANS
12:9-10) “And he

a. The grace of God is sufficient to Christian in times of trials in
life.
b. The bountiful grace of helps us to be strong in Christian life in
times of great trouble in life.
III. THE GRACE OF GOD IS ALWAYS READY TO GIVE TO THE
PASTOR'S FAMILY AS RIGHTEOUS LIFE BEFORE GOD.
(ROMANS 6:1-2) “What shall we say then? Shall we
continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are
dead to sin, live any longer therein?”
a. God always prepare the bountiful grace to give to Christians.
b. Not all receive the bountiful grace of God but only to those who have
righteous living before God.
c. God answers the prayer of the Christian because of the grace of God.
(HEBREWS 4:16) “Let us therefore come boldly unto
the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time
of need.”
(JAMES 5:16) “Confess [your] faults one to
another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent
prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

IV. THE GRACE OF GOD ALWAYS GIVES STRENGTH AND STABILITY
IN PASTOR AND WIFE FAMILY IN THEIR MINISTRY.
(1 PETER 5:10) “But the God of all grace, who
hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have
suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”
a. Christian needs to be strong in Christian life in order to face and
fight our spiritual enemy the devil.
(EPHESIANS 6:10-12) “Finally, my brethren, be strong
in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle
not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness
in high places.”
b. God used strong and faithful Christian in winning more lost people.
(2 TIMOTHY 2:1-2) “Thou therefore, my son, be strong
in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of
me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be
able to teach others also.”
V. THE GRACE OF GOD HELP THE PASTOR AND WIFE TO REJOICE
IN PLANTING MISSION PLANTING TO THE MISSION FIELD.
(ACTS 11:23-26) “Who, when he came, and had seen
the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart
they would cleave unto the Lord. 24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy
Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord. 25 Then departed
Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul: 26 And when he had found him, he brought
him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled
themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were
called Christians first in Antioch.”
a. The Church was revived and was rejoicing in continuous Mission
Planting to the regions beyond.
(ACTS 11:26) “And when he had found him, he
brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled
themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were
called Christians first in Antioch.”
