[D] [PREACHING LESSON 9:] THE CHRISTIAN’S GREAT DELIVERANCE MADE BY CHRIST

(ANG DAKILANG PAGLILIGTAS NA GINAWA NI KRISTO SA BUHAY NG KRISTIYANO)

PSALMS 18:49-50 “Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
Pss 18:50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.”

Panimula:

a.     Nagpahayag Si Haring David nang lubos na pasasalamat sa Diyos dahil sa dakilang pagliligtas na ginawa ng Diyos sa kanyang buhay.

PSALMS 18:49 ““Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.”

b.    Bilang tayo ay mga tunay na anak ng Diyos, ano ang mga dakilang pagliligtas na ginawa ni Kristo sa ating buhay.

Mga dakilang pagliligtas na ginawa ni Kristo sa buhay ng Kristiyano:

1. CHRIST DELIVERED US FROM HELL JUDGMENT

(Iniligtas tayo ni Kristo sa kahatulan sa impiyerno)

JOHN 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

a.     Maliwanag ang pangako ng Diyos na buhay na walang hanggan sa bawat Kristiyano na hindi na papasok sa kaparusahan sa impiyerno.

b.    Isang malungkot na katotohanan na mas marami ang papasok sa kahatulan sa impiyerno kaysa tutungo ang kaluluwa sa langit.

MATTHEW 7:13-14 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mt 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

c.      Ang bawat tumanggi na tanggapin si Hesus bilang Panginoon at Tagapagligtas ay may tiyak na kahatulan sa impiyerno.

JOHN 3:18, 36 “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

Þ   Malungkot na malungkot na katotohanan na sinabi ito ng Salita ng Diyos.

2. CHRIST DELIVERED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW

(Iniligtas tayo ni Kristo mula sa sumpa ng kautusan)

GALATIANS 3:13 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:”

a.     Tumutukoy ang sumpa ng kautusan sa kabayaran ng kasalanan, ang kamatayan.

b.    Ang kamatayan ni Kristo sa krus ng Kalbaryo ay naging sapat na pantubos sa sumpa ng kautusan.

ROMANS 5:8-9 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

c.      Tinanggap ni Kristo ang sumpa na dapat tayong mga makasalanan ang tatanggap.

GALATIANS 3:13 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:”

ROMANS 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

3. CHRIST DELIVERED US FROM THE POWER OF DARKNESS

(Iniligtas tayo ni Kristo sa kapangyarihan ng kadiliman)

COLOSSIANS 1:13 “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:”

a.     Salamat sa Panginoon dahil wala ng kapangyarihan ang diyablo sa atin sapagkat tinalo na siya ni Hesus sa krus ng Kalbaryo.

HEBREWS 2:14 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;”

b.    Wala ng kapangyarihan ang diyablo para dalhin pa tayo sa gawaing makasanlibutan.

EPHESIANS 2:2-3 “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”

4. CHRIST DELIVERED US FROM THE STING OF DEATH

(Iniligtas tayo ni Kristo sa tibo ng kamatayan)

1CORINTHIANS 15:55-57 “O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?
1Cor 15:56 The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law.
1Cor 15:57 But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

a.     Kinatatakutan ng lahat ng tao ang kamatayan subalit sa Kristiyano, hindi na sapagkat ang kamatayan ay pakinabang sa bawat tumanggap kay Kristo.

PHILIPPIANS 1:21 “For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.”

b.    Hinahamon ng Diyos ang kamatayan. Ang kamatayan ay mahalaga sa paningin Niya.

PSALMS 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord [is] the death of his saints.”

Þ   Para sa Kristiyano, ang tibo ng kamatayan o pisikal na kamatayan ay wala ng kapangyarihan.

1CORINTHIANS 15:55 “O death, where [is] thy sting? O grave, where [is] thy victory?

Þ   Ang kautusan na siyang kalakasan ng kasalanan ay nawalan ng bisa.

1CORINTHIANS 15:56 “The sting of death [is] sin; and the strength of sin [is] the law.”

c.      Ang kamatayan sa Kristiyano ay pagtatagumpay natin dahil kay Kristo.

1CORINTHIANS 15:57 “But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Þ   Naging pintuan ang kamatayan ng Kristiyano upang mapunta ang kaluluwa ng Kristiyano sa langit.

2CORINTHIANS 5:1, 8 “For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2Cor 5:8 We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”

5. CHRIST DELIVERED US FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD

(Iniligtas tayo ni Kristo sa sanlibutang masama)

GALATIANS 1:4 “Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:”

a.     Ang ating panahon ay papasama ng papasama.

EPHESIANS 5:16 “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

b.    Tayo ay nasa mapanganib na panahon ngayon.

2TIMOTHY 3:1-4 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Tim 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Tim 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
2Tim 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;”

c.      Babalik si Kristo upang kunin ang mga mananampalataya.

1THESSALONIANS 4:13-18 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1Thes 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1Thes 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Thes 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Thes 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Thes 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

d.    Ang pagbabalik ni Kristo ay mapalad na pag-asa ng bawat Kristiyano.

TITUS 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”

Pangwakas:

Ang dakilang pagliligtas ni Kristo sa buhay ng Kristiyano ay dakilang pagpapala at karanasan ng bawat mananampalataya. Ang mga pangakong ito ang katunayan na si Kristo-Hesus ang pag-asa natin sa kaluwalhatian.

COLOSSIANS 1:27 “To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”
