[D] [PREACHING LESSON 7:] THE CLEAR MARKS OF A ‘MOVING-ON’ CHRISTIAN

(MGA MALIWANAG NA PALATANDAAN NG KRISTIYANONG PASULONG SA KANILANG BUHAY KRISTIYANO)

COLOSSIANS 1:10 “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;”

Panimula:

a.     Dapat maliwanag na makikita sa mga Kristiyano ang pagsulong sa buhay espiritwal dahil ikinatutuwa ito ng Diyos.

b.    Subalit may mga Kristiyano pa ring hindi sumusulong sa buhay espiritwal. Ito ay malungkot na katotohanan sapagkat maraming ganitong Kristiyano sa loob ng iglesya lokal.

PHILIPPIANS 1:15-17 “Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
Php 1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
Php 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.”

Mga maliwanag na palatandaan ng Kristiyanong sumusulong ang kanilang buhay espiritwal:

1. GOING TO CHURCH WITH EXCITEMENT IS A CLEAR MARK OF A ‘MOVING-ON’ CHRISTIAN

(Ang pagtungo sa tahanan ng Panginoon nang may kagalakan ay malinaw na palatandaan ng sumusulong na Kristiyano)

PSALMS 122:1-4 “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
Pss 122:2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
Pss 122:3 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
Pss 122:4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.”

a.     Ang masaya at masiglang pagsamba ay palatandaan ng Kristiyanong sumusulong. Sa ganitong paraan nila naipapakita ang kanilang pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga sa dakilang Diyos.

JOHN 4:23-24 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Jn 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.”

1:4-8 “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

b.    Ang masiglang pagsamba sa Diyos ay pagpapakita na inuuna natin Siya sa ating buhay.

MATTHEW 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

2. GROWING IN GRACE IN THEIR SPIRITUAL LIFE IS A CLEAR MARK OF A ‘MOVING-ON’ CHRISTIAN

(Ang paglago sa biyaya sa buhay espiritwal ay malinaw na palatandaan ng sumusulong na Kristiyano)

2PETER 3:18 “But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] glory both now and for ever. Amen.”

a.     Ang paglago natin ay sa biyaya lamang ng Panginoon bago man o matagal ng Kristiyano dahil Siya lamang ang makakagawa nito sa ating buhay sa pamamagitan ng Kanyang Salita.

1PETER 2:2 “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:”

MATTHEW 4:4 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

b.    May programa ang Diyos sa pagpapalago. Ginagamit Niya ang matatatag na Kristiyano.

EPHESIANS 4:11-13 “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:”

c.      Ayaw ng Diyos na nananatiling hindi tayo malago sa buhay Kristiyano.

1CORINTHIANS 3:3 “For ye are yet carnal: for whereas [there is] among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?”

Þ   Tinawag ng Diyos na karnal o namumuhay sa laman ang hindi malagong Kristiyano.

Þ   Pinagmumulan ng kaguluhan ang hindi malagong Kristiyano sa loob ng iglesya lokal.

d.    Gusto ng Diyos na tayo ay maging responsableng tagapagturo sa ibang tao kaysa sa manatiling bata at walang pakinabang sa loob ng iglesya lokal.

HEBREWS 5:12-14 “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Heb 5:13 For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

3. GIVING TO GOD WITH A CHEERFUL HEART IS A CLEAR MARK OF A ‘MOVING-ON’ CHRISTIAN

(Ang pagbibigay sa Panginoon nang may masayang puso ay malinaw na palatandaan ng sumusulong na Kristiyano)

2CORINTHIANS 9:7 “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, [so let him give]; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”

a.     Tinawag ng Diyos na mas mapalad ang nagbibigay kaysa sa tumatanggap.

ACTS 20:35 “I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

b.    Ang pagbibigay ng ikapu at handog ay gawain ng mga matatatag at malalagong Kristiyano.

MALACHI 3:10 “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].”

c.      Ang pagbibigay nang masagana sa gawain ng Panginoon ay pagpapatunay ng ating sinserong pagmamahal sa Diyos.

2CORINTHIANS 8:1-8 “Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;
2Cor 8:2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
2Cor 8:3 For to [their] power, I bear record, yea, and beyond [their] power [they were] willing of themselves;
2Cor 8:4 Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and [take upon us] the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
2Cor 8:5 And [this they did], not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
2Cor 8:6 Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.
2Cor 8:7 Therefore, as ye abound in every [thing], [in] faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and [in] all diligence, and [in] your love to us, [see] that ye abound in this grace also.
2Cor 8:8 I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.”

4. GLOWING IN CHRISTIAN LIFE IS A CLEAR MARK OF A ‘MOVING-ON’ CHRISTIAN

(Ang pagliwanag ng ating buhay Kristiyano ay malinaw na palatandaan ng sumusulong na Kristiyano)

MATTHEW 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

a.     Nais at utos ng Diyos na laging magliwanag ang ating buhay sa mga taong nasa kadiliman pa.

b.    Ang pamumuhay sa liwanag ay katunayan na si Kristo ay nagliliwanag pa sa ating buhay.

JOHN 1:4-8 “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Jn 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Jn 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name [was] John.
Jn 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe.
Jn 1:8 He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of that Light.”

Pangwakas:

Nais ng Diyos na mamuhay ang Kristiyano na laging sumusulong sa buhay espiritwal. Sapagkat ito ang katunayan na tayo ay tumatakbo sa Kristiyanong takbuhin.

1CORINTHIANS 9:24-25 “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
1Cor 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they [do it] to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.”
