[D] [PREACHING LESSON 5:] THE GREAT WORK OF CHRIST IN THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN

(ANG DAKILANG GAWAIN NI KRISTO SA BUHAY NG KRISTIYANO)

1CORINTHIANS 1:4-7 “I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
1Cor 1:5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and [in] all knowledge;
1Cor 1:6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
1Cor 1:7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:”

Panimula:

a.     Ang mga dakilang ginawa ni Kristo sa bawat buhay ng mga totoong naging Kristiyano o mga ligtas ay magandang binabalikan at inaalala palagi sapagkat lalo nating pahahalagahan at pasasalamatan ang Diyos.

b.    Lubos na nagpapasalamat si Pablo sa Diyos sa mga dakilang bagay na pinagkaloob Niya sa kanyang buhay.

Mga dakilang bagay na ginawa ni Kristo Hesus sa ating buhay:

1. CHRIST DIED FOR US AS A RANSOM

(Namatay si Kristo para sa atin bilang pantubos)

1TIMOTHY 2:6 “Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”

a.     Naging ating Manunubos si Kristo Hesus nang Siya ay mamatay sa krus ng Kalbaryo.

ROMANS 5:8-9 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”

b.    Sapat na ang kamatayan ni Kristo at ang pagkabuhos ng Kanyang dugo sa krus ng Kalbaryo.

c.      Tinanggap ng bawat makasalanang nagsisi si Hesus sa kanilang puso bilang biyaya at regalo mula sa Diyos.

EPHESIANS 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

ROMANS 10:9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

2. CHRIST AROSE FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION

(Nabuhay na maguli si Kristo para sa ika-aaring ganap natin)

ROMANS 4:25 “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”

a.     Si Hesus ang Siyang nagpatawad at nagpaging-matuwid sa atin nang Siya ay mamatay at mabuhay na maguli.

ROMANS 8:33-37 “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? [It is] God that justifieth.
Rom 8:34 Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

b.    Panatag ang ating loob bilang Kristiyano na hindi na tayo hahatulan pa.

JOHN 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”

c.      Binigyan tayo ni Kristo ng katiyakan ng buhay na walang hanggan, pagtatagumpay at pag-asa sa kaluwalhatian.

1CORINTHIANS 15:57 “But thanks [be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

COLOSSIANS 1:27 “To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”

3. CHRIST DWELT IN OUR LIVES TO GIVE US PERFECT ASSURANCE

(Nanahan si Kristo sa ating mga buhay upang bigyan tayo ng lubos na katiyakan)

PHILIPPIANS 1:21 “For to me to live [is] Christ, and to die [is] gain.”

a.     Binigyan ng Diyos ang mananampalataya ng katiyakan ng buhay na walang hanggan.

1JOHN 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

b.    Si Hesus ang tunay na Diyos at buhay na walang hanggan.

1JOHN 5:20 “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”

c.      Tinitiyak ni Hesus na walang makapaghihiwalay sa atin sa pag-ibig ni Kristo.

ROMANS 8:35-39 “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

4. CHRIST WILL COME FOR OUR GLORIFICATION

(Babalik si Kristo para sa ating pagluwalhati)

2THESSALONIANS 1:10 “When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.”

a.     Ang pagbabalik ni Kristo ay mapalad na pag-asa para sa bawat taong naligtas sapagkat kukunin Niya tayo at isasama sa langit magpakailanman.

TITUS 2:13 “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;”

1THESSALONIANS 4:13-18 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1Thes 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1Thes 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1Thes 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Thes 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Thes 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”

Pangwakas:

Ang mga dakilang ginawa ni Kristo at mga gagawin pa Niya sa buhay ng Kristiyano ay totoong dakilang pagpapala na hindi kayang ibigay ng sanlibutan.

PSALMS 145:1-3 “I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Pss 145:2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
Pss 145:3 Great [is] the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness [is] unsearchable. ”
