PSALMS 19:7-9 “The law of the Lord [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord [is] sure, making wise the simple.
Pss 19:8 The statutes of the Lord [are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord [is] pure, enlightening the eyes.
Pss 19:9 The fear of the Lord [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord [are] true [and] righteous altogether.”

Panimula:

a.     Hinahamon tayo ni Haring David na maging matibay sa Salita ng Diyos.

PSALMS 19:7 “The law of the Lord [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord [is] sure, making wise the simple.”

b.    Mahalaga na maging matatag ang ating puso sa Salita ng Diyos sapagkat ang Diyos ay kumikilos at gumagawa sa bawat puso at isip ng Kristiyano.

PSALMS 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

Mga dakilang magagawa ng Salita ng Diyos para patatagin ang ating puso:

1. THE WORD OF GOD DEVELOPS OUR HEART TO BE STRENGHTENED

(Pinapalago ng Salita ng Diyos ang ating puso para lumakas)

PSALMS 19:7 “The law of the Lord [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord [is] sure, making wise the simple.”

a.     Kailangan nating maging malakas sa pamamagitan ng Salita ng Diyos sapagkat ito ay pagkain nating espiritwal.

MATTHEW 4:4 “But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

b.    Kailangan din nating maging malakas ayon sa kalakasang nagmumula sa Diyos sapagkat malakas din ang ating kaaway na diyablo.

EPHESIANS 6:10-12 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].”

2. THE WORD OF GOD DEVELOPS OUR HEART TO BE WISE

(Pinapalago ng Salita ng Diyos ang ating puso para maging pantas)

PSALMS 19:7 “The law of the Lord [is] perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord [is] sure, making wise the simple.”

a.     Tinuturuan ng Diyos ang Kristiyano na huwag maging mangmang sa buhay Kristiyano kundi maging pantas at dapat naiintindihan ang kalooban ng Diyos.

EPHESIANS 5:17 “Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].”

b.    May mahigpit na utos ang Diyos patungkol sa pagpapahalaga sa pag-aaral ng Salita ng Diyos sapagkat ito ang mag-iingat sa atin sa lahat ng pandaraya ng diyablo.

PROVERBS 4:5-7 “Get wisdom, get understanding: forget [it] not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Prov 4:6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
Prov 4:7 Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”

3. THE WORD OF GOD DEVELOPS OUR HEART TO REJOICE IN THE LORD

(Pinapalago ng Salita ng Diyos ang ating puso para maging masaya sa Panginoon)

PSALMS 19:8 “The statutes of the Lord [are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord [is] pure, enlightening the eyes.”

a.     Pagpapahayag ng kalakasan sa ating buhay Kristiyano ang pagiging masaya sa Panginoon.

b.    Ang kagalakan sa ating puso ay isa sa mahalagang bunga ng Banal na Espiritu sa ating buhay.

GALATIANS 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,”

c.      Ang hamon ni Pablo sa Kristiyano ay magalak palagi.

PHILIPPIANS 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice.”

4. THE WORD OF GOD DEVELOPS OUR HEART TO BE PURE BEFORE GOD

(Pinapalago ng Salita ng Diyos ang ating puso para maging malinis sa harapan ng Diyos)

PSALMS 19:8-9 “The statutes of the Lord [are] right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord [is] pure, enlightening the eyes.
Pss 19:9 The fear of the Lord [is] clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord [are] true [and] righteous altogether.”

a.     Isang magandang bunga ng Salita ng Diyos ang malinis na buhay ng Kristiyano dahil binubuksan nito ang ating paningin upang makita ang kalooban ng Diyos.

b.    Ang Diyos ay banal kaya’t nais Niya na mamuhay tayo nang may kabanalan bilang Kristiyano.

1PETER 1:15-16 “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
1Pet 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

5. THE WORD OF GOD DEVELOPS OUR HEART TO BE SATISFIED

(Pinapalago ng Salita ng Diyos ang ating puso para makuntento)

PSALMS 19:10-11 “More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Pss 19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward.”

a.     Inihambing ng Diyos ang Kanyang salita sa dalisay na ginto at sa pulot-pukyutan na nagbibigay sa atin ng kasiyahan.

PSALMS 19:10 “More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”

b.    Ang Salita ng Diyos ay nag-iingat at nagbibigay sa atin ng karangalan at dakilang gantimpala.

PSALMS 19:11 “Moreover by them is thy servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward.”

Pangwakas:

Mahalagang binabasa at pinamumuhay ang Salita ng Diyos sapagkat makatutulong ito sa ating buhay Kristiyano.

JOSHUA 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
