GOOD
POSITIVE EXPRESSION OF THE CHRISTIAN BEFORE GOD TO HELP GIVE THEM LONG LIFE.
(Proverbs 10:27) The fear of the LORD prolongeth
days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
1. LIVING IN THE FEAR OF GOD SHOWS OUR DESIRE TO GIVE US
LONG LIFE.
2. CLAIMING THE PROMISE OF GOD IN GIVING THE CHRISTIAN
LONG LIFE.
(Psalms 91:16) With long life will I satisfy him,
and shew him my salvation.
3. CHRISTIAN SHOULD KEEP THEIR TONGUE FROM EVIL AND
SPEAKING GUILE
(1 Peter 3:10) For he that will love life, and
see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they
speak no guile:
4. CHRISTIAN SHOULD ALWAYS OBEY THEIR PARENTS AND GOD
PROMISE THEM LONG LIFE AND RIGHT MIND.
( Ephesians 6:1-4 ) [1]Children, obey your parents in
the Lord: for this is right.
[2]Honour thy father and mother;
(which is the first commandment with promise;)
[3]That it may be well with thee,
and thou mayest live long on the earth.
[4]And, ye fathers, provoke not
your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the
Lord.
5. CHRISTIAN SHOULD SERVE THE LORD AND GOD PROMISE TO
INCREASED THEIR LIFE.
(Exodus 23:25-26) [25]And ye shall serve the LORD
your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness
away from the midst of thee.
[26]There shall nothing cast their
young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.
6. CHRISTIANS WHO ALWAYS PUT THEIR IN GOD ASSURE TO HAVE
LONG LIFE FROM GOD.
(John 11:26) And whosoever liveth and believeth
in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
7. CHRISTIANS WHO PRAYED TO GOD OF LONG RECEIVED IT FROM
THE LORD.
(Psalms 21:4) He asked life of thee, and thou
gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
8. CHRISTIANS WHO OBEYING GOD'S COMMANMENTS ENJOY GOD'S
PROMISE OF LONG LIFE.
(Proverbs 3:1-3) [1]My son, forget not my law; but
let thine heart keep my commandments:
[2]For length of days, and long
life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
[3]Let not mercy and truth forsake
thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
9. CHRISTIANS WHO ALWAYS HEARS GOD'S ENJOY GOD'S PROMISE
OF LONG LIFE.
(Proverbs 4:10) Hear, O my son, and receive my
sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
10. CHRISTIANS WHO SET THEIR LOVE UPON GOD ENJOY GOD'S
PROMISE OF LONG LIFE.
Psalms 91:14-16 [14]Because he hath set his love
upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath
known my name.
[15]He shall call upon me, and I
will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour
him.
[16]With long life will I satisfy
him, and shew him my salvation.
