HOW CAN
YOU PROVE AND SAY THAT OUR CHURCH IS BUSY FOR GOD'S MINISTRY?
1. THE BUSY CHURCH ARE ALWAYS PRESENT
IN ALL WORSHIP IN THE CHURCH.
( Acts 2:46-47 ) [46]And they, continuing daily with one accord in
the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with
gladness and singleness of heart,
[47]Praising
God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church
daily such as should be saved.
2. THE BUSY CHURCH ARE ALWAYS SHARING
AND PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST TO THEIR COMMUNITY.
( Acts 11:20-24 ) [20]And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene,
which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the
Lord Jesus.
[21]And
the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned
unto the Lord.
[22]Then
tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in
Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
[23]Who,
when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all,
that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
[24]For he
was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was
added unto the Lord.
3. THE BUSY CHURCH ARE ALWAYS ENGAGED
IN PRAYING INSIDE THE LOCAL CHURCH.
( Acts 1:13-15 ) [13]And when they were come in, they went up into an
upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip,
and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon
Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
[14]These
all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and
Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
[15]And in
those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number
of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
4. THE BUSY CHURCH ARE ALWAYS SERVING
GOD AS ONE BODY OF CHRIST.
( I Corinthians 12:12-18 ) [12]For as the body is one, and
hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one
body: so also is Christ.
[13]For by
one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles,
whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
[14]For
the body is not one member, but many.
[15]If the
foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it
therefore not of the body?
[16]And if
the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it
therefore not of the body?
[17]If the
whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing,
where were the smelling?
[18]But
now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased
him.
[19]And if
they were all one member, where were the body?
[20]But
now are they many members, yet but one body.
5. THE BUSY CHURCH HAVE NO TIME TO
LOVE AND ENJOY THE WORLD.
( I John 2:15-17 ) [15]Love not the world, neither the things that are
in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
[16]For
all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and
the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
[17]And
the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God
abideth for ever.
6. THE BUSY CHURCH ARE ALWAYS
LISTENING THE PREACHING OF THE WORDS OF GOD.
(Acts 20:7-12) [7]And upon the first day of the week, when the
disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to
depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
[8]And
there were many lights in the upper chamber, where they were gathered together.
[9]And
there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a
deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell
down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
[10]And
Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not
yourselves; for his life is in him.
[11]When
he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a
long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
[12]And
they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
* God bless you all always *
