[C] [PREACHING LESSON 14:] BOUNTIFUL BLESSING FROM THE LORD IS NOT RECEIVED BY ACCIDENT

(ANG MASAGANANG PAGPAPALA MULA SA DIYOS AY HINDI AKSIDENTENG NATANGGAP)
GENESIS 22:11-18 “And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here [am] I.
Gen 22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son] from me.
Gen 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind [him] a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
Gen 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah–jireh: as it is said [to] this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen. c
Gen 22:15 And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
Gen 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son]:
Gen 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
Gen 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”

Panimula:

1. WE WILL RECEIVE GOD’S BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS FROM HIM IF WE ARE WILLING TO SACRIFICE EVEN OUR DEAREST TO HIM
GENESIS 22:1-3 “And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, [here] I [am]. a
Gen 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only [son] Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
Gen 22:3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.”

GENESIS 22:12-13 “And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son] from me.
Gen 22:13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind [him] a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.”

GENESIS 22:15-18 “And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
Gen 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son]:
Gen 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
Gen 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”

2. WE WILL RECEIVE GOD’S BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS FROM HIM IF WE WILL SET AND PROVE OUR LOVE TO HIM
PSALMS 91:14-16 “Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Pss 91:15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I [will be] with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Pss 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”

PSALMS 91:14 ““Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.”

PSALMS 91:15-16 “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I [will be] with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Pss 91:16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”

PSALMS 91:16 “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”

3. WE WILL RECEIVE GOD’S BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS FROM HIM THROUGH OUR FAITHFULNESS TO HIM
PROVERBS 28:20 “A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.”

PHILIPPIANS 2:6-8 “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

HEBREWS 3:2-5 “Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses [was faithful] in all his house.
Heb 3:3 For this [man] was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
Heb 3:4 For every house is builded by some [man]; but he that built all things [is] God.
Heb 3:5 And Moses verily [was] faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;”

MATTHEW 24:45-46 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Mt 24:46 Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.”

4. WE WILL RECEIVE GOD’S BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS IF WE WILL PUT OUR STRONG FAITH ON HIM
ROMANS 6:14-21 “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Rom 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Rom 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
Rom 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
Rom 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things [is] death.”

HEBREWS 11:32-40 “And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and [of] Barak, and [of] Samson, and [of] Jephthae; [of] David also, and Samuel, and [of] the prophets:
Heb 11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
Heb 11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Heb 11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
Heb 11:36 And others had trial of [cruel] mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
Heb 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
Heb 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and [in] mountains, and [in] dens and caves of the earth.
Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”

HEBREWS 11:6 “But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Pangwakas:
2TIMOTHY 4:8 “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
