[C] [PREACHING LESSON 8:] THE CLEAR MARKS OF THE SPIRITUAL CHRISTIAN

(MALINAW NA PALATANDAAN NG KRISTIYANONG ESPIRITWAL)
JOHN 15:1-5 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Jn 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Jn 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Jn 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Jn 15:5 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

Panimula:
a.     May dalawang uri ng Kristiyano na makikilala mo base sa uri ng kanilang pamumuhay: ang espiritwal na Kristiyano at ang Kristiyanong makamundo ang pamumuhay.
b.    Ang espiritwal na Kristiyano ay makikilala natin sa kanilang matuwid at banal na pamumuhay sa harapan ng tao at sa harapan ng Diyos.
c.      Ang mga espiritwal na Kristiyano ay malaking pagpapala sa loob ng iglesya lokal.
ACTS 6:5-7 “And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
Acts 6:6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid [their] hands on them.
Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.”

Limang (5) mahahalagang palatandaan ng espiritwal na Kristiyano:

1. THEY HAVE A CLEAN LIFE IN CHRIST
(Sila ay may malinis na buhay kay Kristo)
JOHN 15:3 “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.”

a.     Ang matuwid at banal na pamumuhay ay palatandaan ng mga tunay na ligtas.
2CORINTHIANS 5:17 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

b.    Mahalaga ang Salita ng Diyos sa matuwid at banal na pamumuhay ng Kristiyano.
JOHN 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

c.      Gagamitin ng Diyos sa gawain ang Kristiyanong may matuwid at banal na pamumuhay.
2TIMOTHY 2:21 “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, [and] prepared unto every good work.”

2. THEY HAVE AN ABIDING LIFE IN CHRIST
(Sila ay may pananatiling buhay kay Kristo)
JOHN 15:4-5 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Jn 15:5 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

a.     Ang matapat na paglilingkod sa Diyos ay katunayan ng pananatili kay Kristo.
1TIMOTHY 1:12 “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;”

b.    Ang matapat na pagsamba sa Diyos ay katunayan ng pananatili kay Kristo.
ACTS 2:42-46 “And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts 2:43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
Acts 2:45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all [men], as every man had need.
Acts 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,”

c.      Ang matapat na pagbibigay ng ikapu at handog ay katunayan ng pananatili kay Kristo.
MALACHI 3:10 “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].”
ACTS 20:35 “I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

3. THEY HAVE A FRUITFUL LIFE IN CHRIST
 (Sila ay may mabungang buhay kay Kristo)
JOHN 15:5 “I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

a.     Ang pananatili kay Kristo ay susi nang masaganang pamumuhay Kristiyano.
JOHN 15:4-5 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Jn 15:5 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

b.    Ang pagbubunga nang masagana ay nakakapagbigay luwalhati sa Diyos.
JOHN 15:8 “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”

c.      Ang pagbubungangang Kristiyano ay susi upang ang mga panalangin natin ay sagutin ng Diyos.
JOHN 15:16 “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

4. THEY HAVE A USEFUL LIFE IN CHRIST
(Sila ay may kagamitgamit na buhay kay Kristo)
2TIMOTHY 2:21 “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, [and] prepared unto every good work.”

a.     Tinawag ng Diyos na matuwid ang Kristiyano na sisidlang ikapupuri.
b.    Sinabi ng Diyos na ang matuwid na Kristiyano ay karapatdapat na gamitin Niya.

5. THE HAVE A SHINING LIFE OF CHRIST
 (Sila ay may nagliliwananag na buhay ni Kristo)
MATTHEW 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

a.     Si Kristo ang tunay na nagliliwanag sa buhay ng Kristiyano.
JOHN 1:4-8 “In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Jn 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Jn 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name [was] John.
Jn 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe.
Jn 1:8 He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of that Light.”

b.    Tinawag ang mga Kristiyano na anak ng liwanag at araw. Hindi tayo anak ng gabi at dilim.
1THESSALONIANS 5:4-7 “But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1Thes 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1Thes 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.
1Thes 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.”

c.      Ang hamon ni Hesus sa bawat Kristiyano ay magliwanag na gayon ang ilaw sa harap ng mga tao.
MATTHEW 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Pangwakas:
Totoong may maliwanag na palatandaan ang espiritwal na Kristiyano. Katunayan ito na tayo ay ligtas at gagamiting pagpapala sa Kanyang gawain. Handa ring sumagot sa mga taong naghahanap ng pag-asa na nasa buhay nating mga Kristiyano.
1PETER 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:”
