[BB] [PREACHING LESSON 7:] CLEAR BIBLICAL EVIDENCES OF A FAITHFUL CHRISTIAN.

CLEAR BIBLICAL EVIDENCES OF A FAITHFUL CHRISTIAN.

( Proverbs 28: 20 ) A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.

THE LOVE GOD WITH ALL THEIR HEART AND WITH ALL THEIR SOUL AND WITH ALL THEIR STRENGHT.

Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

1. THEY OBEYED THE LORD BY FAITH.

( Hebrews 11:6-8 ) [6]But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

[7]By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

[8]By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.

2. THEY ARE EXCITED AND WORSHIP GOD IN HIS TEMPLE.

( Psalms 122:1 ) [46]And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

[47]Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

3. THEY FULFILL THE GREAT COMMISSION OF CHRIST INSPITE THEIR IS TREATH IN LIFE.

( Acts 5:26-29 ) [26]Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

[27]And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,

[28]Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.

[29]Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

4. THEY GIVE SACRIFICIALLY AND BOUNTIFULLY TO GOD.

( II Corinthians 8:1-5 ) [1]Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

[2]How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.

[3]For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;

[4]Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

[5]And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

5. THEY SUPPORT THE MISSION WORK FAITHFULLY.

( Philippians 4:15-16 ) [15]Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

[16]For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

6. THEY ARE READY TO FACE SUFFERING WITH JOY FOR CHRIST SAKES IN FOR BEING A CHRISTIAN.

( I Peter 4:13-16 ) [13]But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

[14]If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

[15]But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

[16]Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

7. THEY ARE FAITHFUL SERVING THE LORD WHILE WAITING FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

( Mathew 24: 45-47 ) [45]Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

[46]Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

[47]Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

( Philippians 1:5-6 ) [5]For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

[6]Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

God bless you all always *
