[B] [PREACHING LESSON 12:] HOW DOW WE KNOW IF GOD IS STILL WORKING IN THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN?

(PAANO NATIN MALALAMAN KUNG ANG DIYOS AY KUMIKILOS PA SA BUHAY NG KRISTIYANO?)

EPHESIANS 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

PHILIPPIANS 2:13 “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure.”

Panimula:

a.     Ang kaligtasang naranasan ng bawat totoong naging Kristiyano ay pasimula pa lamang ng dakilang pagkilos ng Diyos sa ating buhay. Ngunit ang kaligtasan ang pinakadakila sa lahat ng ginawa Niya dahil sa pagtanggap natin ng Kanyang dakilang pag-ibig.

JOHN 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

b.    Hindi pa tapos ang Diyos sa ating buhay. Bilang tayo’y mga naligtas na, nais Niya kumilos at gumawa sa ating buhay upang maging katulad ni Kristo at maging epektibo at mabunga sa ating buhay Kristiyano.

c.      Ang Panginoong Hesus ang modelo at pattern natin upang hubugin tayo sa buhay Kristiyano.

Limang (5) mahahalagang gawa ng Diyos sa buhay ng Kristiyano:

1. GOD IS STILL CHANGING THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN

 (Binabago pa ng Diyos ang bawat buhay ng Kristiyano)

2CORINTHIANS 5:17 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

a.     Hindi natin kayang baguhin ang sarili natin. Kaya’t babaguhin tayo ng Diyos mula sa ating masamang pamumuhay. Bagong buhay katulad kay Kristo.

b.    Nag-iwan si Hesu-Kristo ng magandang halimbawa ng matuwid na pamumuhay.

1PETER 2:21 “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:”

c.      Ang pagbabago ng Kristiyano ay araw-araw na gagawin ng Diyos sa ating buhay.

2CORINTHIANS 4:16 “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward [man] is renewed day by day.”

2. GOD IS STILL CLEANING THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN

(Nililinis pa ng Diyos ang bawat buhay ng Kristiyano)

JOHN 15:1-3 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Jn 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Jn 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.”

a.     Sinabi ni Hesus na tayo’y nililinis Niya sa pamamagitan ng Salita ng Diyos.

JOHN 15:3 “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.”

b.    Mabisang panlinis ang Salita ng Diyos sa buhay ng bawat Kristiyano.

JOHN 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

c.      Gagamitin lamang ng Diyos ang buhay ng Kristiyano sa gawain kung totoong malinis na.

2TIMOTHY 2:21 “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, [and] prepared unto every good work.”

3. GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL EVEN IN GOOD TIMES AND BAD TIMES OF THE CHRISTIAN

(Ang Diyos pa rin ang may kontrol kahit sa kabutihan at kaguluhan ng Kristiyano)

2CORINTHIANS 1:4-10 “Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
2Cor 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
2Cor 1:6 And whether we be afflicted, [it is] for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, [it is] for your consolation and salvation.
2Cor 1:7 And our hope of you [is] stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so [shall ye be] also of the consolation.
2Cor 1:8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
2Cor 1:9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
2Cor 1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver [us];”

a.     Ang Diyos na nagbigay ng pagsubok ay Siya rin ang aaliw at magliligtas sa Kristiyano sa gitna ng malaking problema.

2CORINTHIANS 1:10 “Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver [us];”

b.    Ang Diyos na nagbigay ng pagsubok ay hindi magbibigay ng problema na hindi natin makakaya.

1CORINTHIANS 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].”

c.      Ang Diyos din ang magpapala sa atin pagkatapos ng pagharap natin sa mahigpit na pagsubok katulad ni Job na nakaranas ng mahigpit na pagsubok.

JOB 42:12-17 “So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
Job 42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.
Job 42:14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren–happuch.
Job 42:15 And in all the land were no women found [so] fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
Job 42:16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, [even] four generations.
Job 42:17 So Job died, [being] old and full of days.”

4. GOD IS STILL CALLING MORE LABORERS IN HIS VINEYARD TO HARVEST PRECIOUS SOULS OF MAN

(Tumatawag pa ang Diyos ng marami pang mga manggagawa sa Kanyang ubasan upang mang-ani ng mga kaluluwa.)

ROMANS 1:15-16 “So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”

a.     Nagsanay si Kristo ng pitumpo pang manggagawa upang makatulong Niya sa pag-aani ng marami pang kaluluwa.

b.    Hinahamon tayo ni Kristo na itingin natin ang ating mga mata sa maraming kaluluwa na handa ng maligtas.

JOHN 4:35 “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

c.      Ang iglesya ng Jerusalem ay magandang huwaran para sa mabungang buhay ng Kristiyano.

ACTS 2:41, 47 “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.

Acts 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

5. GOD IS STILL CHALLENGING THE CHURCH TO GO FOR MISSION INTO ALL THE WORLD

(Hinahamon pa rin ng Diyos ang iglesya para humayo sa buong mundo para mag-misyon.)

MATTHEW 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mt 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.”

a.     Ang pagmimisyon sa buong mundo ang susi upang makarating sa kanila ang ebanghelyo ni Kristo.

b.    Iniutos ni Kristo na bautismuhan sila sa pangalan ng Ama, ng Anak, at Banal na Espiritu hanggang sa katapusan ng sanlibutan.

c.      Bilang pangako ng Diyos, sasamahan Niya tayo sa paghayo hanggang sa katapusan ng sanlibutan.

Pangwakas:

Laging handa ang Diyos na gumawa at kumilos sa bawat buhay ng Kristiyano para maging epektibo, mabunga at maluwalhati Siya sa buhay natin.

1PETER 5:10 “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].”
