THE MORE YOU DESIRE TO BE CLOSER TO GOD THE MORE YOU BECOME TO LOOK LIKE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

( Psalms 73:28 ) But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

1. THE MORE YOU DESIRE TO WALK A HOLY WALK BEFORE GOD.

( 1 Peter 1:15-16 ) [15]But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

[16]Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

2. THE MORE YOU DESIRE TO WALK BY FAITH BEFORE GOD THE FATHER.

( 2 Corinthians 5:7 ) (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

The simple men of God became great men of because they walk by faith.

( Hebrews 11:32-39 )[32]And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

[33]Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

[34]Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

[35]Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

[36]And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

[37]They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

[38](Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

[39]And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

3. THE MORE YOU DESIRE TO WALK IN THE LIGTH BEFORE LOST PEOPLE IN THIS WICKED AND DARK WORLD.

(Matthew 5:14-16) [14]Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

[15]Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

[16]Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

4. THE MORE YOU DESIRE TO WALK WITH WISDOM FROM GOD.

(Ephesians 5:15-17) [15]See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

[16]Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

[17]Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

5. THE MORE WE DESIRE TO WALK SPIRIT AND WE SHOULD NOT FULFILL THE DESIRE OF THE FLESH.

( Galatians 5:16 ) [16]This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

[17]For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

6. THE MORE WE WALK HOPE IN GOD IN TIMES OF HELPLESS SITUATION IN LIFE.

( Colossians 1:27) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
