[AA] [PREACHING LESSON 5:] CHRIST IS CALLING YOU BY YOUR PERSONAL NAME

CHRIST IS CALLING YOU BY YOUR PERSONAL NAME

(Luke 19:1-3) [1]And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.

[2]And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.

[3]And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.

1. BECAUSE CHRIST LOVES YOU AND HE WANT YOU TO BE SAVED.

( John 3:16 ) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God’s greatest desire that all men might be saved and come to the knowledge of truth.

( ITimothy 2:4 ) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Christ desire that all lost sinners might be saved.

God the Father do not want that any should perish in hell fire forever.

( II Peter 3:9 ) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God commanded us to rescue the lost people in sure going to hell to full them out of the fire.

( Jude 1:23 ) And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Christ gave His great commission to His Church.

( Matthew 28:19-20 ) [19]Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

[20]Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

2. BECAUSE CHRIST SAVED YOUR SOUL WITH A PURPOSE.

( II Timothy 1:9 ) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Christ reveal to each one of us are saved. Christ have an important purpose in our life. Not according to our own purpose but according to His grace to fullfil His greatest commission of reaching the at any cost at any place and any time.

3. BECAUSE YOU'RE A PART OF THE BODY OF CHRIST TO GLORIFY HIM IN THE LOCAL CHURCH.

( I Corinthians 12:12-18 ) [12]For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

[13]For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

[14]For the body is not one member, but many.

[15]If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[16]And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

[17]If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

[18]But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

To Christ every part of the body of Christ are very important part of the body of Christ. Your name are very precious to Christ.

4. BECAUSE CHRIST BOUGHT WITH THE PRICE AND READY FOR SERVING HIM IN HIS GREAT MINISTRY.

( Christ call your name because He bought the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you buy a very precious jewelry or other things which is very precious you want see it and protect it.

Much Christians are bought with the high price of the blood of Jesus and we very precious to Christ and to God the Father.

(1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ) [19]What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

[20]For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

5. BECAUSE CHRIST HATH CHOSEN TO BE HIS CO-LABOURER IN HIS GREAT WORK.

Christ call your name as His best friend and co-labourer and not a servant anymore the Bible said.

( John 15: 16 ) [14]Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

[15]Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

[16]Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

( 1 Corinthians 3:9 ) For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

Paul gave commendation to Christians who are good partners in the Ministry of the Lord.

( Philippians 4:15-19 ) [15]Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

[16]For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

Conclusion:

a. This is sad part of our lesson.  Those who are without Christ after their death they have no name mention for them because lost sinners died without Christ are thrown into the lake fire forever in hell fire forever.

( Ephesians 2:12 ) That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

( Luke 16: 23-26 ) [23]And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

[24]And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

[25]But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

[26]And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

God bless you all always *
