THE
DEDICATED PARTNERS IN THE WORK OF THE LORD.
* God put in His Church good spiritual partners and co-workers in the
Ministry of the Lord.
( Ephesians 4:11-12
) [11]And he
gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors
and teachers;
[12]For the perfecting of the
saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
1. GOD THE FATHER IN HEAVEN IS OUR DEDICATED AND FAITHFUL
PARTNER IN THE WORK OF THE LORD.
( ICorinthians 6:9 )
For we are
labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
( Lamentations
3:22-23 ) [22]It is
of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail
not.
[23]They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness.
2. THE HOLY SPIRIT LEADS THE PEOPLE ACCORDING TO GODS
WILL WITH POWER AND WISDOM FROM THE WORD GOD.
( Acts 1:8 ) But ye shall receive power, after
that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of
the earth.
( John 16:13 ) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of
himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew
you things to come.
3. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE
CENTER OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL CHRISTIAN THAT MEDIATE IN OUR PRAYERS TO GOD THE
FATHER.
( 1 Timothy 2:5 ) For there is one God, and one
mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
( Galatians 2:20 ) I am crucified with Christ:
nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and
gave himself for me.
( Ephesians 3:17-21
) [17]That
Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in
love,
[18]May be able to comprehend with
all saints what is the breadth, and length,
4. THE FAITHFUL SERVANTS OF GOD THAT
HELP TO EQUIP THE NEW BELIEVERS TO GROW IN THEIR CHRISTIAN LIFE.
( Ephesians 4:11-16
) [11]And he
gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some,
pastors and teachers;
[12]For the perfecting of the
saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
[13]Till we all come in the unity
of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto
the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
[14]That we henceforth be no more
children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by
the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to
deceive;
[15]But speaking the truth in
love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
[16]From whom the whole body fitly
joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to
the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body
unto the edifying of itself in love.
5. THE EVANGELIST OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST THAT PREACH
THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST IN BIG OUTDOOR CROWDS OF PEOPLE.
( Acts 2:36-41 ) [36]Therefore let all the house of
Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have
crucified, both Lord and Christ.
[37]Now when they heard this, they
were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the
apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
[38]Then Peter said unto them,
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39]For the promise is unto you,
and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord
our God shall call.
[40]And with many other words did
he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
[41]Then they that gladly received
his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three
thousand souls.
* ( Romans 1:15-16 )
[15]So, as
much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
[16]For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.,
6. THE LOCAL CHURCH THAT ARE FAITHFUL SUPPORTERS OF
MISSIONS FINANCIALLY WITH FAITHFULNESS.
a. The Philippians Church supports Missions faithfully.
( Philippians
4:15-19 ) [15]Now
ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed
from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and
receiving, but ye only.
[16]For even in Thessalonica ye
sent once and again unto my necessity.
[17]Not because I desire a gift:
but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
[18]But I have all, and abound: I
am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you,
an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
[19]But my God shall supply all
your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
b. Macedonian Church give liberally to support the needs of the work the
local Church.
( II Corinthians
8:1-5 ) [1]Moreover,
brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of
Macedonia;
[2]How that in a great trial of
affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the
riches of their liberality.
[3]For to their power, I bear
record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
[4]Praying us with much intreaty
that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the
ministering to the saints.
[5]And this they did, not as we
hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of
God.
* God love and bless the cheerful givers.
( II Corinthians
9:6-10 ) [6]But
this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which
soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
[7]Every man according as he
purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for
God loveth a cheerful giver.
[8]And God is able to make all
grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things,
may abound to every good work:
[9](As it is written, He hath
dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for
ever.
[10]Now he that ministereth seed
to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown,
and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
* Conclusion:
( I Corinthians 3:9
) For we are
labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
* God place us in the body of Christ and we are steward of the great
work of God.
( 1 Timothy 1:12 ) And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord,
who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the
ministry;
* God challenge all of us to be a good steward of God's great Ministry.
( 1 Corinthians 4:2
) Moreover
it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
* The work of the Lord is great work and honorable.
( Psalms 111: 2-3 ) [2]The works of the LORD are
great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
[3]His work is honourable and
glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
