BLESSED
CHRISTIAN IN THE SIGHT OF GOD.
( Psalms 1:1-3 ) [1]Blessed is the man that walketh
not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor
sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
[2]But his delight is in the law
of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
[3]And he shall be like a tree
planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
1. THE BLESSED MAN ON NEGATIVE SIDE. ( v 1 )
(Psalms 1:1) Blessed is the man that walketh
not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor
sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
a. The Blessed man don't Walk- " walketh not in the counsel of the
ungodly. "
b. The Blessed man don't Stand- " nor standeth in the way of
sinners. "
c. The Blessed man don't Sit- " nor sitteth in the the way of the
scornful "
2. THE BLESSED MAN POSITIVE SIDE. ( v. 2 )
( Psalms 1:2 ) But his delight is in the law of
the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
a. The Blessed man Full of Affection was Captured by the Word of God-
But his delight is in the law of the Lord "
b. The Blessed man Full of Attention was claimed by the Word of God- and
his delight is his law doth he meditate day and night.
3. THE BLESSED MAN DISCRIPTIVE SIDE. ( v 3 )
( Psalms 1:3 ) And he shall be like a tree
planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
a. The Blessed man is a Planted man.- " And he shall be like a tree
planted by the rivers of waters "
b. The Blessed man is productive man-
Psalms 1:3 " that bringeth forth his
fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth
shall prosper."
c. The Blessed man are bless of prosperity in all his doing.
" Psalms 1:3 " and whatsoever he doeth
shall prosper."
Conclusion:
King encourage the Christians to Choose to obey and love Gods Word to
have a blessed life in the sight of God.
Psalms 119:97-101 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the
day.
[98]Thou through thy commandments
hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
[99]I have more understanding than
all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
[100]I understand more than the
ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
[101]I have refrained my feet from
every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
