IF A CHRISTIAN CHOOSES TO WALK RIGHT, GOD IS THE FIRST ONE TO SUPPORT YOU SO THAT YOU CAN DO SO TO GLORIFY HIM IN YOUR CHRISTIAN LIFE

(Proverbs 3:5-6) [5]Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

[6]In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

INTRODUCTION:

a. God design the life of the Christian to walk a righteous walk before God. Because God shape and pattern the life of the Christian in the example of the Lord Jesus Christ.

( Ephesians 2:10 ) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

b. Paul always choose to walk a worthy walk before the people in this wicked World.

( Colossians 1:10 ) That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

c. God is a righteous God and love to see the righteous walk of the Christian.

( Psalms 11: 7 ) For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

6 GREAT SUPPORT OF GOD TO CHRISTIANS WHO ALWAYS CHOOSE TO WALK RIGHT BEFORE GOD.

1. GOD WILL SUPPORT YOU OF RIGHT DIRECTION.

( Psalms 119:105 ) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

a. This is a good support of God to Christians who choose to walk a righteous walk. He will direct your part the bible said.

( Psalms 25:4-6 ) [4]Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

[5]Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

[6]Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

d. Christians upon receiving the Lord Jesus Christ God have a plan and purpose already in our lives.

( II Timothy 1:9 ) Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

2. GOD WILL SUPPORT YOU OF RIGHT CONGREGRATIONS.

 

( Psalms 89:5 ) And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

a. Jerusalem Church is an example Church as being faithful in worshipping God.

( Acts 2:46-47 ) [46]And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

[47]Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

b. They are faithful in their Prayer Meeting.

( Acts 1:13-15 ) [13]And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

[14]These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

[15]And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

c. They are faithful in their Sunday School.

( Acts 2: 42-43 ) [42]And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

[43]And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

[44]And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

d. They faithful also in soulwinning in having Evangelistic Meeting in their Community.

( Acts 2:41 ) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

e. They are also faithful in their giving to the Lord.

( Acts 2:44-45 ) [44]And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

[45]And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

3. GOD WILL SUPPORT YOU OF RIGHT DECISION.

( Psalms 73:28 ) But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

a. It always right decision to Christians to draw near God

Because God promise the Christians of many multiple blessings in our Christian life.

( Matthew 6:33 ) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

b. The Christian who always come to God assures God's perfect protection in their life.

( Psalms 91:1-7 ) [1]He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

[2]I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

[3]Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

[4]He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

[5]Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

4. GOD WILL SUPPORT YOU OF RIGHT SOURCE OF CONVICTION.

( II Timothy 3:16-17 ) [16]All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

[17]That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

a. God commanded the Christians to meditate the Word of God every day Morning and evening.

( Joshua 1:8 ) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

b. God called the Christians blessed because we give value  to the Word of God.

( Psalms 1: 1:3 ) [1]Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

[2]But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

[3]And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

c. The Word of God is the source of our spiritual strength and conviction.

( 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

[17]That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

d. The Word of God make the Christian family to be a Godly Christian.

Psalms 128:1-4 [1] Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.

[2]For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

[3]Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.

[4]Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.

5. GOD WILL SUPPORT YOU OF MULTIPLE OF PROTECTION.

( Psalms 91:1-10 ) [1]He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

[2]I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

[3]Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

[4]He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

[5]Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

[6]Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

[7]A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

[8]Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

[9]Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

[10]There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

6. GOD WILL SUPPORT YOU OF HIS BOUNTIFUL PROVISION.

( Philippians 4:19 ) But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

a. Your faithfulness in giving assures God's bountiful blessings.

( Malachi 3:10-12 ) [10]Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

[11]And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

[12]And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

a. God commanded His people to be faithful in their giving and expects God's bountiful.

b. Macedonian Church are good example in liberal giving.

( II Corinthians 8: 6-10 ) [6]Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.

[7]Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.

[8]I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.

[9]For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

[10]And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
