[A] [PREACHING LESSON 6:] GODLY CHOICES OF A CHRISTIAN THAT ASSURES PLEASANTNESS AND PEACE IN CHRISTIAN LIFE

(MGA MABUBUTING PAMUMUHAY NA NAGBIBIGAY KASIYAHAN AT KAPAYAPAAN SA BUHAY NG KRISTIYANO)

PROVERBS 3:17 “Her ways [are] ways of pleasantness, and all her paths [are] peace.”

Panimula:

a.     Ang pagpili ng Cristiano sa matuwid na pamumuhay ng Cristiano ay laging may inaasahan na kasiyahan at kapayapaan na pangako ng Diyos katulad ng sinabi ng talata.

b.    Ang ibiging mamuhay sa pagibig ng sanlibutan ay may mahigpit na babala sa Cristiano na mawawala ang pagibig ng Diyos sa atin.

1JOHN 2:15 “Love not the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Limang (5) mahahalagang katotohanan na dapat maunawaan:

1. GIVING VALUE TO THE WORD OF GOD IS A GODLY CHOICE WITH PLEASANTNESS AND PEACE

 (Ang pagpapahalaga sa salita ng Diyos ay mabuting pasya na may kasiyahan at kapayapaan)
PROVERBS 3:1-2 “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

Prov 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.”

a.     Si haring David ay mabuting huwaran ng pagpili ng salita ng Diyos.

PSALMS 1:1-2 “Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Pss 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

b.    Tinawag ng Diyos na mapalad ang mga Kristiyanong nagpapahalaga sa salita ng Diyos.

PSALMS 1:1 “Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.”

c.     Sinabi ni haring David na kasiyahan ay sa salita ng Diyos.

PSALMS 1:2 “But his delight [is] in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

2. LIVING IN GOD’S MERCY AND TRUTH IS A GODLY CHOICE WITH PLEASANTNESS AND PEACE

(Ang mamuhay sa awa at katotohanan ng Diyos ay mabuting pasya na may kasiyahan at kapayapaan)

PROVERBS 3:3-4 “Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
Prov 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.”

a.     Ang awa at katotohanan ng Diyos ay laging magkasama sapagkat ito'y permanenteng katangian ng Diyos. 

b.    Ang pamumuhay sa katotohanan ay laging may hatid na kagalakan sa puso ng magulang.

3JOHN 1:3-4 “For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

3Jn 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.”

3. TRUSTING THE LORD AT ALL TIMES IS A GODLY CHOICE OF A CHRISTIAN WITH PLEASANTNESS AND PEACE

(Ang magtiwala sa Panginoon sa lahat ng panahon ay mabuting pasya na may kasiyahan at kapayapaan)

PROVERBS 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Prov 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

a.     Ganito inaasahan ng Diyos na magtiwala tayong lagi sa kaniya at huwag sa ating sarili. 

b.    Ang dakilang pangako ng paggabay ng Diyos ay gaganapin niya sa ating pang araw-araw na buhay. 

4. FEARING GOD AND DEPARTING FROM EVIL IS A GODLY CHOICE WITH PLEASANTNESS AND PEACE

(Ang pagkatakot sa Diyos at paglayo sa masama ay mabuting pasya na may kasiyahan at kapayapaan)

PROVERBS 3:7-8 “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
Prov 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.”

a.     Ang pagkatakot sa Diyos ay pagpapakita natin ng paggalang natin sa Diyos. 

b.    Ang Diyos na ang nagsabi, na ang pagkatakot sa kaniya ay nakabubuti sa ating buhay. 

5. HONORING GOD WITH OUR SUBSTANCE (OUR GIVING) IS A GODLY CHOICE WITH PLEASANTNESS AND PEACE

(Ang parangalan ang ating Diyos ng ating tinatangkilik ay may kasayahan at kapayapaan)

PROVERBS 3:9-10 “Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

Prov 3:10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”

a.     Hamon ng Diyos na tayo'y magtapat sa pagbibigay.

MALACHI 3:10 “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].”

b.    Ang Diyos ay nangako na ibuhos sa ating mga kamalig.

PROVERBS 3:10 “So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”

Pangwakas:

Ang pamumuhay ng may kasayahan at kapayapaan ay pangako ng Diyos sa bawat Cristiano na handang piliin na mamuhay ng tama at matuwid sa Panginoon.
