CHOICES OF A CHRISTIAN THAT ASSURE PLEASANTNESS AND PEACE IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE
(Mga Mabubuting Pamumuhay na Nagbibigay ng Kasiyahan at
Kapayapaan sa Buhay ng Kristiyano)
PROVERBS 3:17 “Her ways
[are] ways of pleasantness, and all her paths [are] peace.”
Panimula:
a. Ang
pagpili ng Kristiyano sa matuwid na pamumuhay ay laging may kalakip na
inaasahang kasiyahan at kapayapaan. Ito ay pangako ng Diyos katulad ng sinasabi
sa ating talata.
b. Sa
kabilang banda, ang pag-ibig sa sanlibutan ay may mahigpit na babala para sa
isang Kristiyano; mawawala ang pag-ibig ng Ama sa sinumang umiibig sa mundo.
1 JOHN 2:15 “Love not
the world, neither the things [that are] in the world. If any man love the
world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

1. ANG
PAGPAPAHALAGA SA SALITA NG DIYOS AY MABUTING PASYA NA MAY KASIYAHAN AT
KAPAYAPAAN
(Giving
value to the Word of God is a godly choice with pleasantness and peace)
PROVERBS 3:1-2 “My son,
forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Prov 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and
peace, shall they add to thee.”
a. Si
Haring David ay mabuting huwaran ng pagpili at pagpapahalaga sa Salita ng
Diyos.
PSALMS 1:1-2 “Blessed
[is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in
the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Pss 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the
Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”
b. Tinawag
ng Diyos na mapalad ang mga Kristiyanong nagpapahalaga sa Kanyang Salita
PSALMS 1:1 “Blessed

ni Haring David na ang tunay na kasiyahan ay matatagpuan sa kautusan ng
Panginoon

* Ang
pagbabasa at pagbubulay-bulay sa Salita ng Diyos ay isang mahalagang utos sa
bawat Kristiyano upang maging matagumpay ang buhay.
( Joshua 1:8 ) This book
of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein
day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have
good success.

Si Haring David ay tinawag na mapalad dahil ang kanyang
buhay ay naging katulad ng isang punongkahoy na itinanim sa tabi ng mga ilog na
laging namumunga at hindi nalalanta.
( Psalms 1:3 ) [3]And he
shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his
fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth
shall prosper.
2. ANG MABUHAY SA AWA AT KATOTOHANAN NG DIYOS AY MABUTING
PASYA NA MAY KASIYAHAN AT KAPAYAPAAN
(Living
in God's mercy and truth is a godly choice with pleasantness and peace)
PROVERBS 3:3-4 “Let not
mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the
table of thine heart:
Prov 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good
understanding in the sight of God and man.”
a. Ang
awa (mercy) at katotohanan (truth) ng Diyos ay laging magkasama sapagkat ito ay
permanenteng katangian ng Diyos.
b. Ang
pamumuhay sa katotohanan ay laging may hatid na kagalakan sa puso ng mga
magulang at mga pinuno ng taga-akay sa pananampalataya.
3 JOHN 1:3-4 “For I
rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in
thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
3Jn 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my
children walk in truth.”
* Ang
Diyos ay mayaman sa Kanyang awa sa Kanyang mga anak na tinubos ng banal na dugo
ni Kristo.
( 1 Peter 1:18-19 ) [18]Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
[19]But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a
lamb without blemish and without spot:
* Ang
awa ng Diyos ay walang hanggan at nananatili sa lahat ng salinlahi.
( Psalms 100:5 ) For the
LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all
generations.
*Ang
awa ng Diyos ay bukas para sa lahat ng makasalanan upang sila ay maligtas mula
sa impyerno.
(1 Timothy 1:15-16) [15]This is
a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into
the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
[16]Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that
in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to
them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
3. ANG MAGTIWALA SA PANGINOON SA LAHAT NG PANAHON AY
MABUTING PASYA NA MAY KASIYAHAN AT KAPAYAPAAN

the Lord at all times is a godly choice with pleasantness and peace)
PROVERBS 3:5-6 “Trust in
the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Prov 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he
shall direct thy paths.”
a. Inaasahan
ng Diyos na magtiwala tayo nang lubos sa Kanya at huwag umasa sa sarili nating
pagkaunawa.
b. Ang
dakilang pangako ng paggabay (direction) ng Diyos ay gaganapin Niya sa ating
pang-araw-araw na buhay.
c.
Ang buhay ng Kristiyano ay dinisenyo ng Diyos upang
lumakad sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya araw-araw.
( Hebreo 11:6-8 ) [6]But
without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
[7]By faith Noah, being warned of God of things
not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house;
by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which
is by faith.
[8]By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out
into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he
went out, not knowing whither he went.

Kung walang pananampalataya, hindi natin mapaluluguran
ang Panginoon.

Si Noah ay isang mabuting halimbawa ng pananampalataya.
Sumunod siya sa utos ng Diyos na gumawa ng arka kahit wala pang senyales ng
baha, at dahil dito ay nailigtas ang kanyang sambahayan (Hebreo 11:7).

Si Abraham ay sumunod din sa Diyos sa pamamagitan ng
pananampalataya nang siya ay utusang lumabas patungo sa lugar na hindi pa niya
alam (Hebreo 11:8).
( Hebrews 11:32-36 ) [32]And
what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of
Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the
prophets:
[33]Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought
righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
[34]Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the
edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight,
turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
[35]Women received their dead raised to life
again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might
obtain a better resurrection:
[36]And others had trial of cruel mockings and
scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:

* Ang mga dakilang lingkod ng
Diyos sa Lumang Tipan ay nagtagumpay sa mga kaaway, nagpatunog ng mga leon, at
nagtiis ng hirap dahil sa kanilang pananampalataya.
Ang Dios ay mayaman sa
Kanyang awa sa Kanyang mga anak na binili ng Kanyang dugong banal.

buhay ng Cristiano ay dinesenyo na Dios na laging mamuhay sa pananampalataya sa
Dios sa kanilang araw araw na pamumuhay Cristiano.

walang pananampalataya ay hindi nakakalugod sa Panginoon.
* Si
Noah isang mabuting halimbawa ng Cristiano namuhay sa Pananampalataya. Nang
sya'y inutusan ng Dios na gumawa ng malaking Arko upang iligtas ang mga tao sa
parating na malaking baha at sumunod si
Noah sa Dios at naligtas ang mga tao sa malaking baha.
* Ang
mga dakilang lingkod ng Diyos sa Lumang Tipan ay nagtagumpay sa mga kaaway,
nagpatunog ng mga leon, at nagtiis ng hirap dahil sa kanilang pananampalataya.

4. ANG PAGKATAKOT SA DIYOS AT PAGLAYO SA MASAMA AY
MABUTING PASYA NA MAY KASIYAHAN AT KAPAYAPAAN
( Fearing
God and departing from evil is a godly choice with pleasantness and peace)
PROVERBS 3:7-8 “Be not
wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
Prov 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and
marrow to thy bones.”
a. Ang
pagkatakot sa Diyos ay pagpapakita ng ating mataas na paggalang (reverence) sa
Kanya.
b.
Ang Diyos mismo ang nagsabi na ang pagkatakot sa Kanya ay
nagdadala ng kalusugan at kabutihan sa ating pisikal at espirituwal na buhay.
* Ang
magandang huwaran ng Pamilyang namumuhay na may pagkatakot sa Panginoon
( Psalms 128:1-4 ) [1] Blessed
is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
[2]For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands:
happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
[3]Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the
sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
[4]Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that
feareth the LORD.
5. ANG
PARANGALAN ANG DIYOS SA PAMAMAGITAN NG ATING TINATANGKILIK AY MAY KASIYAHAN AT KAPAYAPAAN
( Honoring God with our substance( our giving) is godly
choice with pleasantness and peace)
PROVERBS 3:9-10 “Honour the
Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
Prov 3:10 So shall thy barns be filled with
plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”
a. Hamon
ng Diyos na tayo ay maging tapat sa ating pagbibigay.
MALACHI 3:10 “Bring ye
all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and
prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the
windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be
room] enough [to receive it].”
b. Ang
Diyos ay nangakong magbubuhos ng sapat at masaganang pagpapala sa ating mga
kamalig.
PROVERBS 3:10 “So shall
thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new
wine.”
*Ang
mga taga-Macedonia ay magandang huwaran ng masaganang pagbibigay sa Panginoon
sa kabila ng kanilang matinding kahirapan at kapighatian dahil inuna muna
nilang ibigay ang kanilang sarili sa Panginoon.
( 2 Corinthians 8:1-3 ) [1]Moreover,
brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of
Macedonia;
[2]How that in a great trial of affliction the
abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their
liberality.
[3]For to their power, I bear record, yea, and
beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
*Ang
pagbibigay ay dapat gawin nang may kagalakan sa puso, hindi nang napipilitan,
dahil iniibig ng Diyos ang masayang nagbibigay.
( 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 ) [6]But this
I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth
bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
[7]Every man according as he purposeth in his
heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a
cheerful giver.
6. ANG UNAHIN ANG DIOS SA ATING BUHAY AY MABUTING PASYA
NA MAY KASIYAHAN AT KAPAYAPAAN.
(Seeking
God first is a godly choice with pleasantness and peace)
* ( Mathew 6:33 ) But seek ye
first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be
added unto you.
a. Ang
tapat na pagsamba ng Kristiyano sa araw ng Linggo (First day of the week) ay
katunayan na inuuna natin ang Diyos sa ating buhay.
( 1 Corinthians 16:2 ) Upon the
first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath
prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
*Ang
lokal na Iglesya sa Jerusalem ay naging mabuting halimbawa sa kanilang tapat at
nagkakaisang pagsamba araw-araw at tuwing Linggo.
( Acts 2:46-47 ) [46]And
they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from
house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
[47]Praising God, and having favour with all the
people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
*Ang
mabilis na paglago ng lokal na Iglesya ay bunga ng kanilang katapatan sa
panalangin, sa ministeryo ng Salita, at sa maayos na pangangasiwa sa loob ng
Iglesya.
( Acts 6:4, 7 ) [4]But we
will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
[7]And the word of God increased; and the number
of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the
priests were obedient to the faith.
Pangwakas:
Ang
pamumuhay na may tunay na kasiyahan at kapayapaan ay hindi isang aksidente; ito
ay isang pangako ng Diyos sa bawat Kristiyanong handang pumili ng tama,
matuwid, at banal na pamumuhay sa harap ng Panginoon.
PROVERBS 3:17 “Her ways
